According to different embodiments, a channel-retaining device () can comprise: a retaining holder (), which has a first coupling region () and a retaining region () for retaining a drainage channel extending in a direction; a retaining socket (), which has a second coupling region (); wherein the first coupling region () and the second coupling region () form, when joined together, a joint (), which provides the retaining holder () and the retaining socket () with a rotational degree of freedom () relative to each other in the direction; a locking device (), which is designed to block the rotational degree freedom () when the locking device is placed in a first state, so that the retaining holder () and the retaining socket () are locked to each other, and designed to release the rotational degree freedom () when the locking device is placed in a second state, so that the retaining holder () and the retaining socket () can be moved relative to each other.

Channel-retaining device, drainage system and method

Disclosed is a drainage system () comprising: at least one water receiving unit () having: a water receptacle () for receiving water from an adjoining surface of an upper stratum; and at least one drainage unit comprising: a body; wherein: the water receptacle () can be integrated into the upper stratum; the drainage unit can be provided and oriented, at least in part, in a central stratum at a distance under the surface, with respect to its uppermost face, such that water flowing out of the water receiving unit () can flow into the drainage unit through a connection between the water receptacle () and the body; and the connection can be maintained irrespective of a change in this distance. Drainage system, drainage units, and methods

The invention relates to a support structure of a cover of a structure capable of being inserted into the ground, for example of a shaft or a channel, wherein the cover () comprises a traversable surface () and the support structure () extends downwards under said cover into the structure and comprises beam-shaped supports (-) such that their under support side () facing away from the surface () experiences a tensile stress when the surface () is loaded. The invention is further characterized in that between two areas (A, A') a thickness (D) of the carriers with minimum tensile stress is configured substantially symmetrically in an increasing manner up to a maximum value and then, in turn, in a decreasing manner to form a ball shape when viewing the cover from below.

Support structure of a cover

Covers for drains, manholes or similar constructions are known which comprise a first grate () made of sheet metal and comprising slots () and struts (), said struts having top faces () and each strut having side faces () made of sheet metal bent with respect to the top face. In order to increase the rigidity it is proposed that at least a second grate () is provided, the struts () of which are inserted in the slots () of the first grate ().

Covering consisting of a plurality of gratings inserted one into another

Rails for drainage channels or manholes are known on which a cover of a channel or of a manhole can be placed. The rail has a horizontal bearing surface () extending in a longitudinal direction of the drainage channel or of the manhole and, substantially perpendicular to this bearing face, a rail edge () on the inner surface () of which the cover can be placed and on the outer surface () of which a surface covering can be applied. To increase the strength, it is proposed that the bearing surface () and/or the inner surface () and/or the outer surface () is/are provided with beads () over the entire length of the rail ().

Drainage body surface units are known with conical spacer elements which are connected together via a base. The spacer elements have casing surfaces which run undulating in cross-section, comprising successive wave peaks and wave troughs. In order to guarantee as high a strength as possible with as little material usage as possible, a construction is proposed in which the wave peaks transform into the wave troughs via transitional regions, wherein the transitional regions have a smaller material thickness than the wave troughs.

Drainage body surface unit

The invention concerns a cover element for covering an opening in an in particular horizontal surface of a drainage body, with an edge region which is configured to support the cover element on the drainage body, and with a cover region which has a grid-like or perforated structure with supporting elements. It is distinguished in that the supporting elements have a thickness increasing in the vertical direction starting from the edge region in the direction of the regions remote from the edge, such that the cover element has a substantially plano-convex outer contour.
