A suction bucket for a seabed foundation for an offshore facility is provided. The suction bucket is arranged for being embedded into a marine sediment. The suction bucket includes a lid and a sidewall. The sidewall is segmented into a first circumferential segment and at least a second circumferential segment. The first circumferential segment is connected with the second circumferential segment. The first circumferential segment and the second circumferential segment are attached to the lid of the suction bucket. Furthermore, the first circumferential segment and the second circumferential segment each contains at least one substantially planar section. Furthermore, a method to manufacture a suction bucket for a seabed foundation for an offshore facility is also provided.

Segmented suction bucket

An assembly rig for assembling a wind turbine tower or wind turbine tower sections is provided. The assembly rig includes a platform assembly having a vertically oriented mast and one or more substantially horizontally oriented booms which are connected to the vertically oriented mast that has a platform or a personnel basket. The assembly rig also includes a radial segment supporting assembly having a vertically oriented mast and one or more substantially horizontally oriented booms connected to the vertically oriented mast that has a segment holding device at its distal end. The assembly rig further includes a surface, for supporting and levelling the platform assembly and the radial segment supporting assembly. In one embodiment, the surface may be a ground support boom.

The present invention relates to a tubular building structure or towercomprising superposed tube sections. At least some of the tube sectionsare provided with platform segmentsthat are hinge-connected and foldable from a collapsed position in which they are positioned close to the tube sectionsto a position of use in which they extend radially inwardly into the tubular building structurein the mounted position of the tube sections. In particular the invention relates to a tube segmentadapted to be interconnected with other tube segmentsto form a tubular building structure or towercomprising superposed tube sections, each tube section being formed by interconnected axially extending tube segments. The tube segmentis provided with a platform segmentthat is hinge-connected and foldable from a collapsed position in which it is positioned close to the tube segmenttoa position of use in which it extends radially inwardly into the tubular building structurein the mounted position of the tube segments. The tube segmentmay comprise flangesalong each side of opposite longitudinal sides of the tube segmentfor interconnection with other tube segmentsvia registering holes in the flanges. Furthermore, the platform segmentmay be hinge-connected to such flanges. The invention further relates to a method of erecting a tubular building structurecomprising such tube segments

The invention concerns a tower element for a tower, preferably for a wind power plant, where several tower elements with an outer surface and an inner surface are mounted on top of each other, where the periphery of the tower element is made up of a number of segments provided with inwardly facing flanges at the longitudinal sides, the flanges being connected to corresponding flanges on laterally arranged segments. The individual segments are made with an overlap on the outer surface in the transverse joints and with a butt joint at the inwardly facing flanges. By the invention there is achieved flexibility in production and during transport and mounting. With an overlap on the outer surface between two segments, mechanical joining can be performed between two segments in transverse direction. This mechanical joint between two segments results in a more stable construction and a rigidity substantially corresponding to the rigidity that may be achieved in segments joined by welding.
