A computer-implemented method for monitoring an operator state of an operator of an aircraft. The operator performs an input operation on an input device that displays an interactive item, such as a button. Physical properties, such as location, start, ending, duration, force, pressure, etc., of the input operation are measured and compared with expected input performance data that was previously determined. Based on the result of the comparison, an operator state is determined. Based on the operator state, the operator monitoring system generates different control signals, that may alert the operator, engage an assistance system, or issue a distress call.

Vehicle operator monitoring method and system

A system for cognitive assistance in aircraft assembly includes a system to monitor an aircraft assembly process and acquire physical and physiological data on a human worker performing assembly operations. A cognitive model of the human worker on a data-processing device is coupled to the monitoring system to receive acquired physical and physiological data of the human worker, the cognitive model configured to provide state information on the human worker and prognostic data on expected behavior of the human worker during the aircraft assembly process. The state information and the prognostic data are continuously updated during the aircraft assembly process. A system control is coupled to the monitoring system and the cognitive model to assess current state of the aircraft assembly process based on the monitored aircraft assembly process, the state information of the of the human worker and the prognostic data of the cognitive model.

A test system is includes a management server which is configured to provide predefined test instructions, a monitoring system, and at least one execution entity. The monitoring system is configured to convert test instructions provided by the management server into operating instructions for setting a test configuration on a control unit of a system using predefined assignment logic.
