A drive device for moving a covering element for covering an opening in a motor vehicle such as a roller blind, a baggage space cover or a sunroof cover, includes a drive, a guide device and a thrust element which is coupled to the drive. The thrust element is guided in the guide device and is connectable to the covering element in order to move the covering element. The drive for driving the thrust element is coupled to the thrust element via a transmission device being subjected to tensile stress, wherein the transmission device extends at least in certain sections in the guide device.

Drive device for moving a covering element, door module and method for assembling the drive device

A method for control of door and window adjusting parameters is disclosed, the method including the steps: determining at least a first door adjusting parameter and at least a first window adjusting parameter, controlling the first door adjusting parameter and a further door adjusting parameter by considering the determined first window adjusting parameter and controlling the first window adjusting parameter and a further window adjusting parameter by considering the determined first door adjusting parameter. The above steps may also be performed in the alternative. An interaction between the two moveable elements sliding door and window pane is assured. The control of further parameters can occur in dependence from the determined parameters in such way that the risk of arising injuries and in particular damages by a crush incident between a C column of the motor vehicle and the sliding door at a window opening of the sliding door is minimized.

Method for the control of door and window adjusting parameters of a driven motor vehicle sliding door with a window and control system for the execution of the method

Sliding door for motor vehicles, having an outer door skin, an inner door skin and a door inside trim, supported on a guide rail on a vehicle body and movable between opened and closed positions. The sliding door includes a cable guide assembly for accommodating and guiding electric cables, which connect first electric elements provided in or on the vehicle body to second electric elements provided on the sliding door, whereby on moving the sliding door, the cable guide assembly is movable in a plane including the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and whereby a guide channel for guiding the cable guide assembly is provided on moving the sliding door. Guide surfaces of the guide channel are formed or integrated at least in sections on the inner door skin, in a door module support and/or on the door inside trim.

Sliding door for motor vehicles and method for the assembly thereof

The invention relates to a motor vehicle door, consisting of an interior sheet metal and an exterior sheeting, together which form a hollow interior space of the door, having an opening in the interior sheet metal and having a carrier module that closes said opening, and carries at least one functional part of the motor vehicle door, such as a hinge part, lock part or window lifter part. In order to simplify the assembly of a motor vehicle door it is proposed that the vehicle door () features, apart from the opening () in the interior sheet metal () which may be closed by means of a carrier module, an additional access opening () adequately large for inserting the carrier module, including the at least one functional part, into the interior space () of the door and that the carrier module consists of a base plate () which closes the opening () of the interior sheet metal () from the side of the hollow interior space () of the door.

Motor vehicle door

A method of assembling of a door comprising the steps of providing a door inner panel having an outer face and an inner face, at least one functional component of the door, an anti intrusion beam and a door outer panel. The functional component is assembled onto and towards the outer face. The anti intrusion beam is assembled towards the outer face prior to assembling the door outer panel towards the outer face. Fixing means secure the door inner panel, the functional component, the anti intrusion beam and the door outer panel relative to each other.

Method of assembling a door

Hollow-interior vehicle door consisting of an internal in its entirety essentially pot-shaped or pan-shaped stiffening structure, and of at least one external outer panel element being essentially lid-shaped and supported by the essentially pot-shaped or pan-shaped stiffening structure, such as a door skin, as well as of functional parts for practicing the door functions, and of optionally an inner panel element, in which the essentially pot-shaped or pan-shaped stiffening structure serves to accommodate functional parts of the vehicle door. The essentially pot-shaped or pan-shaped stiffening structure is divided into two parts, in fact, into a first frame-shaped stiffening element () for supporting the outer panel element (outer panel) and into a second essentially pot-shaped or pan-shaped stiffening element () for supporting functional parts of the vehicle door () and that the two stiffening elements (and) have, in the area of the outward-pointing, thus in Y-direction pointing, side walls of the door interior (A), elongated, preferably frame-shaped connecting surfaces (and') which define the access opening (B) to the door interior (A).

Vehicle door

A door assembly includes a simple and compact mount for attaching a power or manual window drive mechanism within a door module. The drive mechanism can be removed from a door panel without having to remove the driven mechanism that lowers and raises the window. The drive mechanism is positioned on one side of the panel and the driven mechanism is positioned on an opposite side of the panel from the drive mechanism. A retaining assembly retains the driven and drive mechanisms to the panel such that the drive mechanism can be selectively detached from the panel without detaching the driven mechanism from the panel.

Apparatus for mounting a drive mechanism within a door module

A motor vehicle door includes structural parts for providing the rigidness of the vehicle door and includes a structural element and a lining element. The door further includes function components for providing vehicle door functions like a window panel with a regulator. At least one of the structural parts serves as a support of the function components. In order to reduce the number of individual components, at least one of the structural parts forms a completely shaped composite or sandwich part having a plastic based matrix and further having several of the function components included to serve a rigidness providing bodies. The bodies are molded into the plastic based matrix by the plastic based matrix.
