The disclosure relates to an electric machine having a rotor including a set of permanent magnets and a stator including a stator strip made of a soft ferromagnetic material, the strip supporting a coil body having a single discontinuity, the coil body supporting a plurality of wire coils so as to form a polyphase coil stator assembly of the toroidal type, wherein the strip has a single discontinuity and has at least one partial cut at regular intervals between two consecutive wire coils.

In various embodiments, compact connector designs may be provided that have reduced board pitch (e.g., 1.80 mm, 1.50 mm, 1.27 mm, etc.), but are still capable of accommodating large electrical conductors (e.g., 1.4 mm, 1.1 mm, 0.9 mm, etc.). In this manner, PCB footprint may be reduced (e.g., by 50% when a staggered connector configuration is used), while adequate current carrying capacity may be maintained (e.g., 2 A, 3 A, 4 A, etc.). Additionally, or alternatively, one or more other advantages may be achieved, such as ruggedness (e.g., vibration endurance), error proofing, configuration flexibility, ease of manufacturing, ease of assembly, and/or lowered costs.

A hybrid electric machine includes N phases (N&#x2265;1), each phase having first and second assemblies movable relative to one another and each having a set of teeth made up of a number of teeth that are equally distributed according to a plurality of periods, in which: a. the first assembly is made up of two magnetized parts, each including a magnet magnetically coupled with two toothed yokes, the magnet of one of the magnetized parts being polarized along the same axis but in the opposite direction to the polarization of the magnet of the second magnetized part; b. the second assembly including at least two toothed zones with pitches identical to the pitch of the toothed yokes; c. one of the assemblies has at least two sets of teeth in phase, and the other assembly has at least two sets of teeth which are out of phase by a half-period.

The present disclosure relates to a mono- or polyphase electric motor including a stator carrying at least three coils and consisting of 12&#xd7;N straight teeth extending radially, N being an integer greater than or equal to 1, and of an equal peak divergence alpha, measured at their end from the center of the motor, and a rotor exhibiting P pairs of magnetized poles such that P=5+2&#xd7;R, P being a non-multiple of three, R being an integer greater than or equal to 0, alpha lying between 360&#xb0;(12&#xd7;N)/3 and 360&#xb0;(12&#xd7;N)/2.
