A device for controlling a matrix of light sources of a luminous module for lighting the interior of the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle. The device includes a central unit configured to receive an instruction to activate one among a plurality of preset functions for lighting the passenger compartment, and functionally connected to a plurality of command devices, each of which is configured to command the activation of a group of light sources of the matrix. The central unit is configured to select a plurality of light sources of the matrix to activate to produce the lighting function, and to transmit instructions to the command devices in order to command the activation of the selected light sources.

Device for controlling a matrix of light sources for interior lighting of the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle

A lighting module including a light source with a carrier and at least two light emitters that are placed on the carrier and that have a common electrode; and a power-supplying electrical circuit for supplying the light emitters with power. The power-supplying electrical circuit includes a current source that is connected, via switches, to the light emitters of the light source, and a control circuit for controlling the switches, so as to allow each of the emitters to be selectively supplied with power by the current source.

The invention relates to a light module including a laser source capable of emitting a coherent light beam of given wavelength, a first sensor capable of picking up a first light signal of a wavelength lying in a first band of wavelengths centered around the given wavelength and a second sensor capable of picking up a second light signal of a wavelength lying in a second band of wavelengths centered around a wavelength distinct from the given wavelength. In particular, the light module includes a detection module capable of comparing at least one value that is a function of the signals to a threshold value and of commanding the stopping of the laser source as a function of the comparison.

Securing a light module comprising a laser source

A light module for a light device of a motor vehicle. The module according to the invention comprises driving means for the electrical power supply of at least one light source mounted as a load of the driving means and further comprises switching means capable of selectively short-circuiting at least one of the light sources of the module. The invention relates also to a method allowing for the selective short-circuiting of at least one light source of a light module according to the invention.
