A method for igniting a motor vehicle combustion engine is implemented by an electronic control unit of an ignition circuit of a motor vehicle combustion engine, the ignition circuit including a transformer, including a primary coil and a secondary coil, and a spark plug electronically connected to the secondary coil of the transformer, the primary coil being capable of charging, and capable of discharging into the secondary coil, the discharge duration of the primary coil being predefined, the spark plug being capable of generating a spark during the discharging of the primary coil into the secondary coil, the method including: a) a step of requesting to start a combustion cycle of the engine; a first phase referred to as 'generating a main spark'; and c) a second phase referred to as “generating at least one subsidiary spark”.

Method for igniting a motor vehicle combustion engine

Disclosed is a method for processing position data of an automotive vehicle motor, implemented by a multi-core electronic computer including: a software module for the production of data of angular position of the motor, and at least one software module for driving the motor as a function of the angular position data. The method includes a step of deactivation of each drive module by the module for the production of angular position data, followed by a step of activation of each drive module by the production module. In the course of the deactivation step, the production module dispatches to each drive module a deactivation command, and then a request for confirmation that each drive module is deactivated, and the step of activation of the drive modules is implemented only when the deactivation of all the drive modules has been confirmed to the production module.

Method for processing of motor position data by a multi-core computer

Method of erasing information stored in a nonvolatile rewritable memory of a computer, wherein a master module sends erasing requests to a slave module of the computer, the memory including at least two interleaved sectors. The method includes preliminary steps of determining a virtual memory addressing space associated with the memory, in which each sector extends over a specific range of consecutive virtual memory addresses, and establishing a first correspondence function for determining, from a range of virtual memory addresses, the sector or sectors whose contents must be erased, and for each erasing request received by the slave module indicating a range of virtual memory addresses, a step of determining the sector or sectors whose contents must be erased by the slave module. The memory includes a plurality of segments, each segment breaking down into a plurality of sectors and at least two segments including interleaved physical memory addresses.
