Dispensing assemblies for dental articles such as orthodontic brackets include a supply tube having a generally omega-shaped configuration. The supply tube receives a carrier strip as well as a number of containers that are releasably connected to the carrier strip. A dispenser array includes a plurality of supply tubes that are coupled to a spline by connectors. A dispensing system includes a mechanism for selectively positioning an array of supply tubes in either an upright orientation for storage or alternatively in an inclined orientation for dispensing.

A syringe assembly for applying a bonding agent to an inner surface of an orthodontic band includes a syringe and a hollow dispensing tip. The dispensing tip is detachably coupled to the syringe and is discarded after each patient, so that the risk of cross-contamination is substantially reduced. The dispensing tip provides a convenient extension of the syringe and facilitates application of the bonding agent in a continuous ribbon directly onto an inner surface of the orthodontic band without the use of an auxiliary hand instrument such as a spatula or the like.

Method and apparatus for applying a bonding agent to an orthodontic band

A test pack for evaluating an ethylene oxide sterilization process, comprising an open ended fiber board tubular member, an end cap enclosing each end of said tubular member, said end caps defining a test chamber within the tubular member, one of said end caps having an opening to permit the egress of ethylene oxide into the test chamber. A fiber ball is inserted into the test chamber at a location remote from the end cap having the opening therein, and a chemical type sterilization indicator is placed within the test chamber.
