An ambient light detection unit for a household appliance includes a sensor housing and a brightness sensor which is disposed in the sensor housing and detects the brightness of the ambient light in the environment. The ambient light detection unit has a lens with which the ambient light that is incident on the sensor housing is focused toward the brightness sensor. A household appliance is also provided.

The plate-like lighting module has a support apparatus, on which at least a light source module and a plate-shaped light guide are arranged. The support apparatus has a front frame which is a visible component of the lighting module facing the receiving space, and the front frame has a front strip, on the rear side of which a support web is arranged protruding backward and is formed in one piece with the front strip. The light source module is arranged on the support web.

A beverage dispenser has an actuation lever which is mounted in a dispenser recess in such a way as to be able to pivot about an axis, at least one lighting device, and at least one optical waveguide, which extends from the lighting device, for illuminating the dispenser recess. A light exit is provided on the actuation lever, and the optical waveguide connects the lighting device to the light exit on the actuation lever.

The coolable interior is defined by two side walls and one rear wall of which the surfaces facing the coolable interior are formed by the inner container. The interior lighting has an at least semitransparent cover, a planar light guide with a first surface facing the inner container and a second surface facing the cover and at least one lighting device, which couples its light into the planar light guide so that the planar light guide is able to decouple the light from its second surface.

A beverage dispenser has a housing enclosing a dispenser recess, at least one light inlet window for lighting the dispenser recess, a printed circuit board, on which a number of LEDs are arranged to feed light into the dispenser recess by way of the at least one light inlet window. A domestic refrigeration device includes a thermally insulated body with an internal compartment delimiting an interior coolable food storage space, a refrigeration apparatus cooling the interior space, a door leaf closing the interior space in a closed state and making the interior space accessible in an open state, and an interior lighting configuration illuminating the interior space with the door leaf open. The interior space has side walls with a depth, edges facing the door leaf, a ceiling and a rear wall rearwardly closing the interior space. The lighting configuration includes a first partial interior lighting configuration illuminating the interior space only at least approximately starting from a distance or space measured from the edges of the side walls facing the door leaf to the rear wall, and a second independent partial interior lighting configuration illuminating only a front region of the interior space facing the door leaf.

A refrigeration appliance includes a door having a door rack or racks on the inside of a door leaf and a surface luminaire or lighting fixture disposed substantially perpendicular to the door leaf. The surface luminaire extends in the vertical direction beyond the door rack or racks and serves to illuminate an interior storage space. The surface luminaire is preferably an OLED.
