A wheel stopper device includes a housing which is configured to be placed on a ground surface and to be approached and/or driven over by a motor vehicle non-destructively, a communication module which is configured to receive control data from an external unit, a lighting element which is disposed in or on the housing and is configured to emit light which is visible in an environment of the wheel stopper device, and a control unit which is configured to operate the lighting element on a basis of the control data.

A method for bringing a vehicle closer to a vehicle-external primary charging unit configured to inductively charge the vehicle, where the vehicle includes a secondary charging unit, a camera system and a display device, includes the steps of a) capturing a real-time image of a vehicle environment using the camera system, wherein the primary charging unit is included in the real-time image, b) displaying the real-time image on the display device, and c) inserting at least one guide line into the real-time image. The direction and/or curvature of the guide line coincides with a steering angle lock of the vehicle such that the guide line corresponds to the trajectory of the vehicle in the case of the steering angle lock. The position of the at least one guide line in the real-time image of the vehicle environment is selected such that the guide line indicates a movement curve of the secondary charging unit of the vehicle. A vehicle electric supply system includes a semiconductor safety switch that interruptibly couples the vehicle battery to electric consuming devices that are supplied by an electric socket on board the vehicle. A process for preventing motor vehicle theft in which, while the anti-theft device is activated, a drive control device is switched off, the anti-theft device automatically transmits during each deactivating operation a transmittal code to the drive control device and the drive control device will be switched back on only when the transmitted transmittal code corresponds to a comparison code made available in the drive control device.

In an obstacle recognition system in a motor vehicle with an electronic control device and with sensors to detect the distance of an obstacle in a predetermined area, the control device, in a defined partial area of a part, possibly mounted on the vehicle, that could be detected by a sensor as an obstacle, in the event of an actual obstacle being recognized in this partial area, in a first step determines the distance of the obstacle. In a second step, the control device checks to see whether this distance is changing. The alarm that is usually triggered as a function of the distance of the obstacle is suppressed if the distance of the obstacle detected in the defined partial area does not change.

The controller is a deliberately operable electrical controller. The circuit also includes a control device, coupled to and controlled by the controller, that switches the switching program off and the internal illumination permanently on in response to being controlled by the controller.
