The aim is to provide an individual-segment rotor, the construction of which requires low production expenditure. For this purpose, an individual-segment rotor having an axis of rotation and a plurality of laminated core segments () arranged around the axis of rotation is provided. Each laminated core segment () is radially fastened to a separate flexural support (). All flexural supports () are radially retained by at least one fastening ring ().

In a method for producing an individual-segment rotor for an electric machine, a shaft is arranged in a mold and a plurality of laminated core segments, which are at a distance from one another, are arranged on the circumference of the shaft in a distributed manner in the mold. The laminated core segments each have a fixing contour for a form closure for radially fixing the laminated core segment on the shaft. In addition, a permanent magnet is arranged between each pair of laminated core segments. An intermediate space between the shaft and each fixing contour of the laminated core segments is filled with a curable nonmagnetic material. The curable nonmagnetic material forms a form closure with respect to the radial direction with each fixing contour, and therefore each laminated core segment is retained on the shaft by the form closure.

Method for producing an individual-segment rotor for an electric machine

Cogging forces of a cylindrical linear motor are reduced with a linear motor having a rotor with eight poles and a stator with 36 toroidal coils (optionally multiples of eighteen toroidal coils) inserted into slots (Nto N) (or a multiple of 36 slots). The toroidal coils extend in the circumferential direction of the stator, are of equal size, and are arranged axially one behind the other. All the terminals of the toroidal coils are located in an axially extending connector channel. The two terminals of each coil are connected according to a specific connection scheme.
