A method for operating a power plant (), which includes at least one compressor (), at least one turbine (), and a burner arrangement (), involves, to enhance the power plant (), feeding a combustion exhaust gas from a pre-burner () of the burner arrangement () to an oxygen-removal device (), which removes gas of the oxygen from the combustion exhaust gas in which it is contained.
