A pressure measuring unit includes a pressure measuring cell; a rotationally symmetrical sensor bushing into which the pressure measuring cell is inserted; a rotationally symmetrical process connection having, at one end, an inwardly extending encircling stop surface intended for the sensor bushing and, at another end, an opening for receiving the sensor bushing; a ring-like process seal between the sensor bushing and the stop surface of the process connection in order to thus prevent an ingress of the process medium into the pressure measuring unit; wherein the stop surface of the process connection and/or a counterpart stop surface, which in the installed state is directed toward the stop surface, of the sensor bushing have multiple individually formed webs configured such that the process seal is not extruded into the openings.

Pressure measuring unit for measuring a pressure

A relative-pressure sensor for determining a pressure of a medium in relation to an atmospheric pressure includes a housing; a measuring element arranged in the housing, wherein the pressure to be measured acts upon an outer surface of the measuring element in contact with the medium; a reference-pressure supply, which supplies an inner surface of the measuring element with atmospheric pressure in the form of ambient air, an evaluation unit, which determines the pressure of the medium from a variable determined using the measuring element; and at least one drying chamber arranged in the housing for taking up atmospheric humidity from the ambient air supplied through the reference-pressure supply. A bushing can be pressed into the housing and has a capillary-type groove, which is helical at least in sections and runs around the bushing.

Relative-pressure sensor comprising a reference-pressure supply

A relative-pressure sensor determines the pressure of a medium in relation to an atmospheric pressure. The sensor includes a housing having a measuring element located in the housing, wherein the pressure to be measured acts upon an outer surface of the measuring element. The surface is in contact with the medium. The sensor also includes a reference-pressure supply, which supplies an inner surface of the measuring element with atmospheric pressure in the form of ambient air, and an evaluation unit, which determines the pressure of the medium from a variable determined using the measuring element. A drying chamber takes-up atmospheric humidity from the ambient air that is supplied via the reference-pressure supply. The drying chamber has a drying module comprising a container and a humidity-adsorbing material that is completely surrounded by the container.

A relative pressure sensor () includes a pressure measuring cell () having a measuring diaphragm (), a main body () which is connected to said measuring diaphragm, and a the measuring chamber between the measuring diaphragm and main body, a reference pressure being applied to the measuring chamber by a reference pressure channel () which runs from a rear face () of the main body () through the main body (); a clamping ring (); and a housing () which has at least one housing body () with a measuring cell chamber (), wherein the pressure measuring cell () is clamped in the measuring cell chamber () by the clamping ring (). The housing has a reference air opening () which communicates with the reference pressure channel () by a reference air path which has a path volume which is separate from the volume of the measuring cell chamber, wherein the reference air path has a section which runs along the rear face of the main body, wherein the section is bounded by the rear face of the main body and a guide body, which guide body is clamped in against the rear face of the main body and covers an opening of the reference pressure channel () in the rear face of the main body.

Relative pressure sensor

An apparatus for determining and/or monitoring a physical and/or chemical, measured variable of a medium, including a housing, especially an elongated housing, and a sensor arranged in the housing. The sensor serves for registering the measured variable, wherein the housing has at least one opening, through which the sensor comes in contact with the medium. The housing has a first housing section, in which the sensor and a sensor electronics are arranged. The sensor electronics is arranged on a first carrier element. The sensor electronics serves for changing the measured variable into an analog electrical signal. An insert is applied in the first housing section, in which the sensor electronics is arranged. The insert is tubular.

Measuring apparatus and method for manufacturing the measuring apparatus

A housing comprises a first housing part, having a first bearing surface for a first contact surface of a sealing ring, and a second housing part, which can be screwed together with the first housing part and has a second bearing surface for a second contact surface of the sealing ring. The first contact surface of the sealing ring is produced from a first material having a first coefficient of friction in relation to the material of the first bearing surface, the second contact surface of the sealing ring is produced from a second material that has a second coefficient of friction in relation to the material of the second bearing surface, and the first coefficient of friction is smaller than the second coefficient of friction.

Housing for an electronic device and sealing ring for a housing

A device for determining and/or monitoring the level of a medium in a container or for ascertaining the density of a medium in the container embodied as a vibration detector. According to the invention the vibration detector still functions reliably even under extreme process conditions and upon abrupt changes in process conditions. The vibration detector has a tubular inner part provided, which is dimensioned such that it is positioned between the housing wall and a drive/receiving unit, and that the tubular inner part is connected to the housing or to the diaphragm.
