In an automotive milling machine, with a height-adjustable machine frame, with a controller for the travelling and milling operation, with a working drum, with a slewable transport conveyor device arranged in front of or behind the working drum as seen in the direction of travel of the milling machine, where the last or single transport conveyor of the transport conveyor device as seen in the direction of transport is slewable sideways, relative to the machine frame, about an essentially vertical axis under a slewing angle, and about an axis orthogonal to the axis under an elevation angle, and where the transport conveyor discharges the milled material at a specified conveying speed onto a point of impingement on a loading surface of a transport vehicle, it is provided for the following features to be achieved: the controller comprises a detection and control system which continuously locates the alterable position of the loading surface of the transport vehicle and of the transport conveyor relative to the machine frame, or the alterable position of the loading surface of the transport vehicle relative to the transport conveyor, and continuously controls positioning of the point of impingement of the milled material automatically via the slewing angle and/or the elevation angle and/or the conveying speed of the transport conveyor in such a way that the discharged milled material impinges within the loading surface.

Automotive milling machine, as well as method for unloading milled material

A self-propelled road-milling machine for doing work on surfacings on the ground, and in particular carriageways. The road-milling machine is characterized by a signalling arrangement which has at least one control unit for the entry of at least two different states of operation by the driver of the road-milling machine and at least one visual indicator or display unit to indicate or display for the driver of the transporting vehicle the at least two states of operation which are preset with the control unit by the driver of the road-milling machine. The first state of operation may be a request for the transporting vehicle to be braked or stopped and the second state of operation may be a request for the transporting vehicle to be started or to continue travelling. In a preferred embodiment of the visual indicator or display unit, the request for braking or stopping is shown as a cross and the request for starting or continued travel as an arrow.

Self-propelled road-milling machine

A self-propelled building machine, especially a road cutting machine or a surface miner, has a machine frame and a chassis, comprising running gears resting on the ground. In addition, the present invention relates to a method for operating such a building machine. In an operating mode for adjusting the working depth of the working device the imposed weight applied by the building machine on the running gear is measured, whereby depending on the imposed weight either a controlled or an uncontrolled lowering of the building machine is indicated. A measuring device comprises a sensor for measuring the weight imposed by the building machine on at least one of the running gears. Depending on the measured imposed weight, a signal is generated indicating an uncontrolled lowering of the building machine, if the imposed weight falls short of a predetermined value and/or a signal indicating a controlled lowering of the building machine is generated if the imposed weight reaches or exceeds a predetermined threshold value.

Self-propelled building machine and method for operating a building machine

The invention relates to a self-propelled road-milling machine for doing work on surfacings on the ground, and in particular carriageways. A back-lit operating unit for construction machinery includes a front panel having a plurality of cut-outs. Operating components are received in the cut-outs. A lighting device is arranged behind the front panel. The front panel has a sandwich construction including a carrier panel, a transparent mounting panel located on a front of the carrier panel, and a transparent film located on a front of the mounting panel.
