Control for use in an automation system, including a processor having a communication port for a communication with a sensor and for a reception of sensor signals and a control port for providing control signals, a supply connected to the control port and adapted to provide a variable electrical supply voltage at a supply port in dependence on a control signal level of the control signal, wherein the communication port, the communication port and the supply port are connected to an interface adapted for electrical connection to a sensor, wherein the processor is adapted for providing at least two different communication protocols at the communication port and for providing at least two different control signal levels at the control port.

A method for operating a multi-limb manipulator which includes electric actuators assigned to manipulator limbs, control units assigned to the actuators, including: the provision of desired movement values for the actuator to an actuator dynamic model and the determination of an electric desired current value for the actuator, the transfer of the desired current value to a controller designed for outputting an actuator current to the actuator with the inclusion of the desired current value and of a measured actual current value and a measured actual position of the actuator, wherein a difference between the desired current value and the actual current value is determined as a required positional deviation, and wherein the positional deviation is added to the desired distance fed into the actuator dynamic model to facilitate a diversion movement of the manipulator limb operated by the actuator on the occurrence of an external disturbing force.

Method for operating a multi-limb manipulator

A method and a position control device for an electrical-fluid power drive comprising a fluid power and an electrical actuator for driving a force output point. The invention contemplates the following steps: of derivation of a target overall drive force, to be provided by the fluid power actuator and the electrical actuator jointly, for a positioning movement of the force output point to a positioning location able to be predetermined for the position control device, derivation of a target fluid drive force, to be provided by the fluid power actuator, and derivation of a target electrical drive force to be provided by the electrical actuator, on the basis of the target overall drive force in such a manner that the target electrical drive force is provided for the fractions of the target overall drive force which are more dynamic than the target fluid power drive force and for operation of the fluid power actuator in accordance with the target drive force and of the electrical actuator in accordance with the target electrical drive. The splitting of the force is preferably implemented by a high pass and a low pass.

Position control device for an electrical-fluid power drive and a method of positioning

A linear drive device has a stator and an armature able to be moved in relation to the stator in a linear manner. The device furthermore comprises an electrodynamic linear direct drive system and a fluid power drive system. Using the two drive systems it is possible in an independent manner for setting forces to be applied electrodynamically and by fluid power to the armature.
