A lock for a motor vehicle, in particular a side door lock, comprising a locking mechanism having a rotary latch and at least one locking pawl, an actuating level chain with at least one actuating level and a release lever, wherein a blocked locking mechanism can be unblocked by means of the release lever, and a coupling element between the actuating lever and release lever, wherein the coupling element can be actuated by means of a mass inertia element which is mounted in the motor vehicle lock, and wherein the mass inertia element can be stored in the motor vehicle lock by means of a plastic mandrel.

Lock for a motor vehicle

The object of the invention is a motor vehicle door lock, comprising a lock case () connected to a motor vehicle door () and a lock housing () connected to the lock case (). In addition, a fastening element () for additional fixing of the lock housing () on the motor vehicle door (), is provided. According to the invention, the fastening element () is designed so as to be removable both from the lock case () and the lug () coupling with the lock housing ().

Motor vehicle door lock

The invention relates to a lock having a locking mechanism comprising a rotary latch and a pawl for locking the rotary latch in a locked position of the lock. An identification device for identifying a position of a moving component of the lock is provided. The identification device comprises a spring which is fitted to the component. The spring opens or closes an electrical circuit when the component and the spring which is connected to said component are moved. In this way, positions of the locking mechanism can be reliably determined, without having to worry about fatigue of the spring and associated problems.

Electric vehicle door lock with increased operating reliability

The subject matter of the present invention is a motor vehicle door lock, the basic construction of which is equipped with a locking mechanism () consisting essentially of a rotary latch () and a detent pawl (), furthermore with a release element () for the locking mechanism () and with a storage element (). The storage element () ensures an unobstructed opening movement of the rotary latch () from a closed position into an open position. According to the invention, for this purpose, the storage element () holds the release element () during the opening movement of the rotary latch () in an ineffective position with respect to the locking mechanism ().

Lock for a flap or door

The invention relates to a lock for a door or flap, comprising a locking mechanism that consists of a rotary latch () and at least one pawl () for locking the rotary latch (), the rotary latch () when in the detent position preferably initiating an opening moment in the pawl (). The design of the rotary latch () is such that said latch is deformed under excessive stress in the locked state in such a way that an engagement between the pawl () and the rotary latch () is maintained or increases. A lock of this type will not open even under excessive stress.

The aim of the invention is to provide a reliably functioning lock for a motor vehicle in particular. This is achieved in that the claimed lock for a door or a panel has a locking mechanism consisting of a rotary latch and at least one pawl for locking the rotary latch. The rotary latch and the pawl are preferably designed such that the rotary latch is capable of introducing an opening torque into the pawl. The locking mechanism has a triggering lever for opening the locking mechanism. A transmission device is further provided which increases the pivotal movement of the triggering lever and which comprises a transmission lever in particular for moving the pawl out of the locking position of the pawl by means of a follower. On the basis of the pivotal movement transmission caused by the transmission lever, a relatively small pivotal movement of the triggering lever is sufficient to move the pawl completely out of the locking position by means of the follower. The invention thus ensures that a locking mechanism can be reliably opened even when the triggering lever can no longer be pivoted over the entire original distance due to the effects of aging.

Lock for a panel or door

The aim of the invention is to design a door lock or flap lock which can be easily and reliably opened with little effort. Said aim is achieved by a door lock or flap lock comprising a locking mechanism that consists of a latch and at least one pawl for locking the latch. The lock further comprises a triggering lever which, upon being actuated allows the locked locking mechanism to be unlocked. The lock also comprises a spring for moving the pawl in the direction of the locking position. When the triggering lever is actuated, the triggering lever rests against the spring to push the spring away from the pawl and decrease or cancel the spring force. Using the triggering lever, functions, the number of parts can be kept to a minimum. Advantageously, the lock therefore is not complex to produce and is compact and lightweight.

Motor vehicle door latch mechanism

A motor-vehicle door latch has a latching fork and a release pawl engageable with the fork and pivotal between a latched position retaining the fork in a latched position engaged around a bolt and an unlatched position in which the fork can release the bolt. A coupling lever is pivotal between a coupling position connecting an actuating lever to the release pawl for actuation of the release pawl by the actuating lever and a decoupling position in which movement of the actuating lever does not move the release pawl. An inside locking lever pivotal between a locked and unlocked position is connected by a coupling to a central-locking lever also pivotal for joint synchronous pivoting thereof. A spring engaged between the locking lever and the coupling lever normally moves the coupling lever into its decoupling position on movement of the locking lever into its locked position. A control pin movable in an orbit is operatively engageable with the central-locking lever to displace the locking lever into the locked position and an antitheft lever on the coupling lever is engageable with the control pin. The control pin is moved in its orbit into an antitheft-on position engaging and displacing the antitheft lever and pivoting the coupling lever via the antitheft lever into the decoupling position so that, when the locking lever is in the unlocked position, movement of the coupling lever into the decoupling position loads the spring.

Motor-vehicle door latch with antitheft protection

A motor-vehicle door latch has a housing, a lock fork on the housing engageable with a door bolt, and a release pawl engageable with the fork. An actuating mechanism is connected to the release pawl via a coupling part displaceable on the housing so that in a decoupling position of the part actuation of the actuating mechanism does not affect the release pawl. A central locking element is displaceable on the housing generally parallel to a predetermined direction, is formed with a cutout opening transversely of the direction and having locking and unlocking flanks directed oppositely at least generally in the direction, and is formed to each side of the cutout with an abutment surface directed generally perpendicular to the direction. A drive body rotatable about a drive axis has an eccentric pin formation defining on rotation of the drive body an orbit lying partially inside and partially outside the cutout. A reversible electric motor rotates the drive body and thereby orbits the pin formation about the drive axis.
