Dynamic filtration simulator

The disclosure is of paper machine clothing which includes a means of chemically treating the fabric of the clothing.

Paper machine clothing

A method is disclosed for the manufacture of textile fabrics having resin coated components. The method comprises coating staple fibers with crosslinkable polymeric resins, forming the desired fabrics from the fibers and then cross-linking the resin coating.

Resin containing textiles

The disclosure is of a composite papermakers felt made up of a base layer of a textile and a surface layer of high-temperature resistant fibers coated on the surface exposed portions with a high-temperature resistant, water-insoluble, synthetic, polymeric resin. The felt is useful in the wet press section of a papermaking machine. The disclosure is also of a method of manufacturing the felt of the invention.

Press fabric resistant to wad burning

Monofilaments are made from films of unoriented, polymeric resin thermoplastics. The method comprises providing strips or tapes of the unoriented films, twisting the tapes into a generally cylindrical cross-section and drawing the twisted tape to obtain an oriented, round-in-cross-section, monofilament. In the preferred embodiment, molding is carried out by drawing down the twisted tape.
