A connector for a flexible busbar is provided. The connector includes a jaw and a relief. The jaw has a first member and a second member both depending from a support member and spaced from one another by a distance. The distance is larger than a thickness of the flexible busbar. The relief is defined on first member and/or second member. The jaw is deformably compressible onto the flexible busbar upon application of a deformation force on the first and second members so that the flexible busbar conforms to the at least one relief to form an electrical and mechanical connection.

Die sets for crimping busses to electrical connectors are provided. The die set includes a pair of dies where one die has a guide member for aligning the dies with the electrical connector, and the other die has a one or more indentors for impacting the electrical connector. The electrical connectors include a guide hole that receives the guide member.

An electrical distribution block transfer electrical power from a primary conductor to one or more tap conductors. The distribution block includes a base, a conductor block, first and second sidewalls, and a lid. The conductor block and the first and second sidewalls are connected to the base and the lid is connected to the first and second sidewalls. Provided is a method of preparing a connection for an electrical conductor. The insulation layer of an electrical conductor is cut and the insulation is separated into a first portion and a second portion. The second portion is moved away from the first portion to at least partially expose conductor strands of the electrical conductor. A strand retainer is placed around the exposed conductor strands. The insulation second portion is removed from the electrical conductor. The exposed conductor strands are inserted into an electrical connector.

Cable installation aid for multi-strand electrical conductors

An electrical connector installation tool including a frame and a screw ram. The frame includes a front end having an anvil section adapted to contact a front end of an electrical wedge connector shell, and a rear end having a threaded aperture. The screw ram has a front end, a rear end and a middle section. The front end is adapted to contact a rear end of an electrical wedge connector wedge. The middle section includes a threaded section which is connected to the threaded aperture of the frame to allow the screw ram to be screwed into the frame and thereby move the front end of the screw ram towards the anvil section.

A storage container includes a jar and a cap removably connected to the jar. The jar has a cavity defined by a first base and a first wall extending upwardly from the first base. A first alignment indicator is disposed on an outer surface of the first wall. A cap is removably connectable to the jar. The cap has an upper portion connected to a lower portion by a connecting member. The lower portion has a second base and a second wall extending downwardly therefrom. A second alignment indicator is disposed on an outer surface of the second wall of the lower portion. The first and second alignment indicators are aligned to substantially prevent misalignment of the cap with respect to the jar when connecting the cap to the jar.

A storage container includes a jar and a cap removably connected to the jar. The jar has a cavity defined by a first base and a first wall extending upwardly from the base. The cap has an upper portion connected to a lower portion by a connecting member. The upper portion has a second base and a second wall extending upwardly from the second base to define a receiving area that receives an item stored in the cavity of the jar. The connecting member has an opening therethrough to connect the storage container to a support.

A hydraulic tool including a frame; a ram movably connected to the frame; and a hydraulic drive system on the frame for moving the ram on the frame by hydraulic pressure. The hydraulic drive system includes an automatic release system for automatically releasing hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic drive system. The automatic release system comprises a first valve which is adapted to be automatically opened by a predetermined hydraulic pressure and a second valve which is adapted to be opened by hydraulic fluid passing through the first valve.
