A suture construct includes, inter alia, a sheath and a flexible strand threaded through the sheath to configure the sheath in a circular or oblong shape. The suture construct may be utilized in various tissue reconstruction procedures. The suture construct can be connected to a second suture construct to form a surgical assembly.

Circular suture constructs and methods for use

A suture tensioning device includes a first portion including a first inner surface having a first surface and a first beveled surface and another first portion including another first inner surface having another first surface and another first beveled surface. The first surface of the first inner surface and the another first surface of the another first inner surface contact. The first portion and the another first portion are connected to define a first handle. A first cleat is defined between the first beveled surface and the another first beveled surface.

A drill guide assembly according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a drill sleeve and an alignment bar spaced from the drill sleeve. A positioning of the drill sleeve is linked to a positioning of the alignment bar.

A surgical device according to an exemplary aspect of this disclosure includes, among other things, a tool at a distal end of the surgical device, and a joystick including a ball. Movement of the joystick results in movement of the tool. The surgical device further includes a housing including a socket receiving the ball of the joystick.

The drill guide is an articulating drill guide that comprises an articulating mechanism for articulating and positioning the guide in at least two positions, i.e., an undeployed (non-articulated or straight) position and a deployed (articulated or bent) position. The articulating drill guide delivers guide wires, drills and/or additional instruments at any angle while maintaining contact to the bone.

A femoral implant for total hip replacement includes a cage screw, a femoral head and a base plate provided between the cage screw and the femoral head, to minimize the stress transferred from the femoral head to the bone. The femoral implant may optionally include devices for lateral fixation (for example, internal and/or external screws for lateral fixation) and a device for minimizing micro-motion that is integral to, and extends from, the cage screw.

Methods and instruments for repairing a damaged acetabular labrum. The arc length of a portion of an acetabular rim proximal to the damaged (torn or broken) region of the acetabular labrum is measured, and a graft, such as a meniscal allograft or a gracilis autograft, is trimmed according to the measurement and secured in the damaged region of the acetabular labrum as a replacement. Various instruments, such as a wheel mounted on an arm, a measuring member with spaced tines, or a hollow arm with a graduated wire, can be used to measure the arc length of the damaged region of the acetabular labrum.
