Examples relate to a removable transceiver module that comprises a base frame installable in a rail-pair receptacle that surrounds a first connector in a system board. It further comprises a module base board, a second connector attached thereto and a lever handle pivotally attached to the base frame and coupled to the module base board. The transceiver module is installed in the rail-pair receptacle in response to a lateral movement of the base frame to the receptacle to align the first and second connectors. The lever handle is movable between a closed position to couple the second connector to the first connector and an open position to install the transceiver module into the receptacle. This lever handle determines a vertical move of the module base board between the closed position and the open position.

Example alignment members are provided herein. In one example, the alignment member includes a frame member, a stiffener member, a bracket member, and a spring member. The frame member includes a set of roller bushings. The stiffener member includes a set of cam members. The bracket member to receive the stiffener member. The spring member is connected to the stiffener member. The spring member to expand and contract based on the position of the set of roller bushings.

The present examples include a rack enclosure with perforations formed within vertical rack columns. Front vertical rack columns may include front perforations formed therein. The front perforations may draw air into the rack enclosure and further into a chassis. Side plenums along the side surface of the chassis may consume less space with the use of the front perforations. The space not consumed by the side plenums may be available to accommodate a chassis of a substantial volume. The chassis may expand a substantial width of the rack enclosure to house an enlarged or a maximum number of computing components within the rack enclosure.

Examples described herein include an electromagnetic interference shield. In some examples, the electromagnetic interference shield includes a wall comprised of a conductive material. The wall may have a first surface, a second surface, and a thickness between the first surface and the second surface. The shield may include a rounded opening in the wall that creates an air passageway through the thickness of the wall. The shield may also include a first obstruction in the opening and a second obstruction in the opening. The first obstruction may span across the opening. The second obstruction may span across the opening and intersect the first obstruction. The first obstruction and the second obstruction may be waveguide structures.

An example device in accordance with an aspect of the present disclosure includes a housing to guide the device for attachment onto a computing system. A board is mounted in the housing and includes a first connector facing along a first direction. A hinge is to enable at least a portion of the board and the first connector to move along the first direction and engage a second connector for installation.

Described are examples of optical blind-mate connector adaptors, optical blind-mate connectors to blind-mate to the adaptors, and optical blind-mate systems. In various implementations, an optical blind-mate connector adapter may include a sleeve housing and a shutter mounted at an opening of the sleeve housing. The shutter may include a shutter flap to cover the opening in a closed position and a shutter tab to receive a force to move the shutter flap from the closed position to an open position extending away from the sleeve housing.

A system includes a chassis and a slot in the chassis. The slot has a depth dimension along which a removable module may be moved to insert the module in the slot and remove the module from the slot. The system includes waveguides, which have couplers that are arranged at different depths of the slot to couple the waveguides to the module in response to the module being inserted into the slot.

Described are examples of optical blind-mate connector adaptors, optical blind-mate connectors to blind-mate to the adaptors, and optical blind-mate systems. In various implementations, an optical blind-mate connector adapter may include a sleeve, a shutter mounted on a pivot at an opening of the sleeve to move between a closed position and an open position extending into the sleeve, and a cantilever spring anchored to a wall of the sleeve and including a free end extending toward the opening of the sleeve to urge the shutter to the closed position.

Heat is conducted from a primary component to a thermal dissipation structure. An airflow removes from the thermal dissipation structure. An air channel associated with the thermal dissipation structure diverts a portion of the airflow to a secondary component, thereby providing cooling to the secondary component.

One example relates to an optical engine comprising an optical waveguide. The optical waveguide can comprise a total internal reflection (TIR) edge to change direction of an optical light beam to an angle parallel to a top surface and a bottom surface of the optical waveguide. The optical waveguide can also comprise a plurality of aligning holes extending from the top surface to the bottom surface of the optical waveguide. The optical engine can comprise a substantially transparent slab underlying the optical waveguide. The slab can also comprise a micro lens to collimate the optical light beam. The slab can further comprise a plurality of aligning pins extending perpendicular from a top surface and bottom surface of the slab. Each of the plurality of aligning pins can extend through a respective one of the plurality of aligning holes.

The first port including an attraction field to attract a second port if the second port was within the attraction field. A flexible member can be connected to the first port and a first edge can apply a force to the first port.
