A truck for carrying and dispensing material includes a frame, a hopper mounted on the frame and having an opening along a lower end portion of the hopper, and a conveyor positioned underneath the hopper, wherein the conveyor comprises a conveyor belt and first and second side walls attached to opposing longitudinal side edge portions of the conveyor belt.

Conveyor system for vehicle

In one representative embodiment, a vehicle has a frame, a material hopper mounted on the frame, a swing arm assembly coupled to the frame, and a conveyor mounted on the swing arm assembly. The swing arm assembly can have a support bracket configured to pivot relative to the hopper about a vertical pivot axis, the support bracket also configured to pivot relative to the hopper about a horizontal pivot axis, wherein the support bracket is configured to support the conveyor for pivoting movement of the conveyor relative to the hopper about the vertical pivot axis and about the horizontal pivot axis to move the conveyor from a first, stowed position extending alongside one of the sides of the hopper to a second, use position extending rearwardly away from the rear end of the hopper.

Truck and conveyor system

A method and system for handling granular material, such as proppant used in hydraulic fracturing in well drilling, is provided. In an operational configuration, a delivery module having conveyors receives and conveys granular material to a delivery location, and one or more mobile storage modules receive, hold and dispense granular material downward to the delivery module. The mobile storage modules comprise a raised, angular container portion for holding granular material. Each mobile storage module may comprise a rock-over chassis for support against ground. A remote control module provides centralized, remote control of the system. Mobile support unit modules may also be provided as a remotely controlled vehicle capable of providing power, control, heating, and the like to other modules. Mobile in-feed elevator modules may also be provided as a remotely controlled vehicle for feeding granular material to mobile storage modules. In a transportation configuration, each module is separately transportable.

Mobile material handling and metering system

The present disclosure concerns a system for transporting drill cuttings from an offshore drilling platform. In a representative embodiment, a bulk material storage and conveying system for a waterborne vessel comprises a first conveyor system including one or more upper conveyors extending lengthwise of the vessel. The system also comprises a plurality of containers located below the first conveyor system arranged in one or more rows, and a second conveyor system including one or more lower conveyors located below the one or more containers. The first conveyor system is configured to selectively dispense bulk material into the one or more containers, and the plurality of containers are configured to selectively dispense bulk material onto different locations along the length of the one or more lower conveyors. The system can further include an offloading conveyor assembly configured to convey drill cuttings from the lower conveyors to trucks on land.

A mobile material placer with an auxiliary steering system having a direct hydraulic drive mechanism. The mobile material placer includes a body, a material hopper coupled to the body and configured to receive and store material, a feeder conveyor coupled to the body, and a placer conveyor pivotally coupled to the body. The auxiliary steering system includes a direct hydraulic drive mechanism coupled to the steering column and which causes the steering column to rotate bidirectionally in response to fluid flow from a hydraulic pump.

Apparatuses and methods for the disbursement of relatively heavy materials, such as aggregate or wet compost out of a moveable container are provided. Material is conveyed within the container to a feeder that meters the material into an air stream. The air stream is provided at a relatively high pressure and flowrate with respect to other mobile blowing systems. The air stream carries the material though a hose that is manned by an operator. The operator points the hose towards a desired location for application of the dispersed material.

Apparatuses and methods for dispensing materials

An apparatus and method for dispensing and distributing loose particulate material includes a system for applying an agent to the loose particulate material. In one embodiment, the apparatus includes a container for holding and transporting the loose particulate material to the site of application. A feeder regulates the flow of loose particulate material out of the container. Loose particulate material exiting the feeder is blown out of the apparatus through a hose by an air stream produced by a blower. An agent is introduced via a carrier fluid to the air stream carrying the loose particulate material, whereby the resulting mixture of the agent with the carrier fluid is then mixed with the loose particulate material carried by the air stream.

Apparatus and method for applying agent to particulate material

A truck is equipped with a bin from which bin contents are fed into a blower pressurized conduit by a feed screw conveyor immediately prior to entry into a flexible discharge conduit. Control means permit feed screw conveyor speed to be varied to control the rate of seed discharge into the pressurized conduit. Provision is made for a tank and nozzle for injecting water and/or fertilizer into the pressurized conduit. The truck includes a moving floor conveyor for transferring organic material toward vertical augers which break up the material and feed the material to a powered mixer prior to entry into a rotary feeder and the pressurized air flow. The mixing of seed with the organic material and/or water or fertilizer immediately prior to the composite flow of material entering a flexible discharge conduit mitigates damage to the seed.

Mobile blower system for depositing grass seed and organic material

A truck is equipped with a grass seed hopper from which seed is fed into a blower pressurized conduit air flow by an air lock feeder at a first station. A motor with speed control drives the feeder and determines the rate of seed discharge. A tank on the truck permits the pumped flow of tank contents, water and/or fertilizer, into the conduit carried pressurized air flow. Organic material carried by the truck is conveyed forward by a moving floor toward augers which feed the organic material to a powered mixer for breaking up of the material to ensure passage of loose material into a rotary feeder at a second station. The feeder discharges into a mixing chamber whereat grass seed, discharged from the pressurized conduit, mixes with the organic material for subsequent discharge onto a ground surface via a flexible hose.

Mobile blower system for planting grass seed

A truck including a container used to transport and dispense loose particulate materials. A moving floor is located on the floor of the container to move loose particulate materials within the container into a feeder and dispensing system. The container includes two opposing augers mounted on the inner surface of a rear door of the container. The augers feed loose particulate material within the container to a mixer. The mixer helps to break up the loose particulate material to keep it from bridging as it drops into a feeder. The feeder regulates the flow of loose particulate material into a mixing chamber. A high volume air blower is connected to the mixing chamber. The blower forces a high volume of air through the mixing chamber and out of the mixing chamber into an attached hose. As loose particulate material drops into the mixing chamber, it mixes with the air flow and is blown out of the attached hose. Prior to entering the mixing chamber, the air stream from the blower may be mixed with water to produce a mist. The water mixed with the air stream mixes with the loose particulate material, helping to prevent the production of airborne particles.

Apparatus and method for dispensing and distributing loose particulate

An apparatus and method for coloring aggregate wood material by directing a flow of material onto vertically spaced, perforate conveyors with each conveyor served by conduits discharging curtains of liquid dye. A drive system for the conveyors includes the provision of driving the conveyors at different speeds to increase aggregate depth for saturation purposes. Conduits of the spray system have oversized orifices directing discharges onto deflectors for curtain formation. Curtain impingement includes the aggregate material in transition in between conveyors. An inclined conveyor and pan returns dye removed from the material to a catch basin.
