A saw chain for a chain saw is disclosed. Embodiments include a drive link that may be used in a saw chain, wherein the drive link includes a tail and a concavity that complements a depth gauge of a trailing cutting link, reducing and/or minimizing the drive link's protrusion into a gullet space of the cutting link. Embodiments of the invention may help improve cutting performance and further help reduce kickback potential.

A saw chain for a saw is disclosed. A saw chain is provided that has a plurality of cutter links coupled to an opposing tie strap, where the cutter link has a portion that protrudes past the tie strap to enable pivotal movement of the cutter link toward a central longitudinal axis of a guide bar.

Low vibration saw chain

A fly tying vise provides a three point engagement with a hook by use of an anvil having an aperture therein. An elongate engagement member slides inwardly and outwardly relative to the aperture, and includes a slot therein for receiving a portion of the hook therethrough. Translation of the engagement member controls the degree of engagement of the hook by the vise. The vise support post is curved away from the user to provide room for the user's hands during use.
