A system and method for exposing a cloud application programming interface (API) based on supported hardware of a cloud service system. The method includes executing a cloud service application to provide one or more services. The method includes maintaining, in a data storage, a plurality of linkages between a plurality of service identifiers corresponding to the one or more services of the cloud service application and a plurality of hardware identifiers. The method includes determining, based on the plurality of linkages and/or a hardware profile of the cloud service system, whether the cloud service system has a capability to provide access to the one or more services of the cloud service application. The method includes providing exposure to application programming interfaces (APIs) of at least one of the one or more services of the cloud service application.

Exposing a cloud API based on supported hardware

Configuration management files can be generated to refine software package installation processes. For example, a system can identify sections of a file that can define a first installation process for installing a software package in a computing environment. Each of the sections can include commands. The system can also generate a set of tasks for each of the sections by relating each command of each section to a task provided by a package manager. The system can also generate configuration management files for each section that can define a second installation process for the software package. The configuration management files can be generated based on the sets of tasks and based on conditions of the computing environment. The system can then transmit the configuration management files to the package manager to cause the package manager to implement the second installation process for the software package.

Refining software package installation processes using configuration management files

A deployment engine executing on a computing device can receive a command from a user via a command line interface of the deployment engine. The command can include a predesignated flag for replicating a software development environment that is local to the computing device. The deployment engine can obtain configuration data describing characteristics of the software development environment. The deployment engine can, in response to receiving the command, build an image file based on the configuration data. The image file can be configured for deploying the software development environment inside a virtual guest on a remote computing device.

Automatically deploying a development environment on a target system

A method includes analyzing, by a processing device, a set of container images. Each container image of the set of container images is built by executing a container image file having a plurality of lines arranged in accordance with an execution order. The method further includes assigning, by the processing device, a frequency of change to each line of the plurality lines in view of the set of container images, and modifying, by the processing device, the execution order to obtain a set of modified execution orders by reordering execution of at least a subset of the plurality of lines in view of their respective frequencies of change.

An example method may include identifying one or more source code lines from which an intermediate code line of an intermediate code module is generated, wherein each respective source code line is associated with a respective source code module name and further associated with a respective line number in the respective source code module, generating one or more source mappings, where each source mapping corresponds to a respective source code line and associates a line number of the intermediate code line with a respective source code module name of the respective source code line and further with a respective line number of the respective source code line, and storing, in a data store, the one or more source mappings in association with a name of the intermediate code module. The intermediate code module can be a file generated by a compiler or translator.

The removal of software operators can be managed according to some aspects described herein. In one example, a system can receive a command to remove an operator from a computing cluster and, in response, determine a set of actions previously performed in the computing cluster in relation to adding the operator to the computing cluster. Each action can involve the creation, modification, or deletion of at least one object in the computing cluster. The system can also determine a particular order in which the set of actions were previously performed relative to one another. The system can then assist with removing the operator from the computing cluster by causing an inverse of each action in the set of actions to be performed in the computing cluster in a reverse order to the particular order.

Removing software operators from distributed computing environments

Some examples of the present disclosure relate to generating a distributed debugging environment for a continuous integration (CI) pipeline. For example, a system can detect a failure of a CI pipeline in relation to a code submission for a software project, the CI pipeline being performed in a distributed CI environment including CI nodes. The system can determine a configuration of the distributed CI environment in response to detecting the failure. The system can generate a distributed debugging environment based on the configuration of the distributed CI environment, the distributed debugging environment including debugging nodes that are separate from the CI nodes. The system can modify a configuration setting of the distributed debugging environment for use in determining a source of the failure of the CI pipeline with respect to the code submission.

The technology disclosed herein enables migrating a software build job from a first computing node to a second computing node. An example method may comprise detecting, by a processor, a first software build job executing on a first computing node; detecting a second software build job in a waiting state; determining that the first computing node is capable of executing the second software build job; responsive to determining that a second computing node is capable of executing the first software build job, migrating the first software build job to the second node; and executing the second software build job on the first node.

A monitor process identifies a first container executing on a worker node of a container orchestration system comprising a plurality of worker nodes, each worker node including a control plane component configured to execute a container in response to a request from a scheduler. The monitor process identifies a control group (cgroup) that corresponds to the first container. The monitor process generates a first resource utilization structure that corresponds to the first container. The monitor process, for each respective time of a plurality of successive times, obtains, by the monitor process, from the cgroup, one or more computer resource utilization values that identify real-time memory utilization of the first container at the respective time of the plurality of successive times. The monitor process stores, in the first resource utilization structure, computer resource utilization information based on the one or more computer resource utilization values.

The system includes a user interface, memory, and a processor, the processor configured to compute and save to memory metadata of SQL statements. The stored metadata may be used for later computation of modified SQL statements. Implementing multiple load balancer drivers for a single load balancer is disclosed. A first request directed to a load balancer to load balance requests based on a first request selection instruction is received. A first particular load balancer driver is selected from a plurality of load balancer drivers based on a load balancer table that correlates request selection instructions to corresponding load balancer drivers of the plurality of load balancer drivers. Subsequent requests that are encompassed by the first request selection instruction directed to the load balancer are caused to be load balanced by the first particular load balancer driver.
