A hoisting apparatus comprising a frame ( ), a rope drum ( ) provided with a groove ( ), a hoisting motor ( ), a gear ( ) and a pinion ( ). The hoisting motor ( ) is at least partly positioned inside the rope drum ( ) supported against the frame ( ) by its both ends. The hoisting motor ( ) and the gear ( ) are supported against the frame ( ) only by one end of the rope drum ( ), by which end the hoisting motor ( ) and the gear ( ) are arranged to rotate the rope drum ( ) via the pinion ( ). Hoisting apparatus

A rope pulley construction comprising a frame, at least one rope pulley equipped with a rope groove, rope pulley bearing, guard to prevent a lifting rope from coming off the rope pulley, and suspension point for hanging the rope pulley. The frame of the rope pulley construction comprises two plate parts joined together which simultaneously provide suspension for the rope pulley, at least one suspension point for hanging the rope pulley construction and guard to prevent a lifting rope from coming off the rope pulley.

A method and an apparatus for measuring a load of a hoisting apparatus, where electricity is used as the driving force and a squirrel cage motor as the hoisting motor for moving a load attached to a hoisting member of the hoisting apparatus substantially in the vertical direction. The method and arrangement are employed to determine air gap torque of the hoisting motor, which describes the load of the hoisting apparatus, utilizing magnetization flux of the hoisting motor determined on the basis of the current, supply voltage and stator winding resistance of the hoisting motor. The value of the air gap torque is compared with an air gap torque curve determined for the hoisting apparatus at known reference loads to determine the load that corresponds to the air gap torque in question.

Method and arrangement for measuring load of hoisting apparatus

A method for manufacturing a lifting hook and a lifting hook. In this method a supporting portion is formed of a lifting hook billet at the end of a lifting hook shaft, the lower surface of the supporting portion is formed into a bearing surface and correspondingly a separate uniform bearing ring surrounding the shaft is separated from the lifting hook billet, and a bearing surface is formed into the bearing ring. The lifting hook comprises a supporting portion at the end of the shaft and a uniform bearing ring surrounds the shaft between the hook and the supporting portion.

An axial support of a winding drum, i.e. a support in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the winding drum, in a hoisting apparatus comprising a frame, a grooved winding drum supported substantially perpendicular to its longitudinal axis against the frame by bearings, a hoisting rope and machinery. The winding drum comprises at least one axial support element and the frame comprises at least another axial support element, and at least either the axial support element of the winding drum or the axial support element of the frame substantially extends round the circumference of the winding drum. The axial support element of the winding drum and the axial support element of the frame are arranged in respect of each other such that the movement of the winding drum in the direction of its longitudinal axis, which is caused by the axial component of the rope force of the hoisting rope, is hindered at least in one direction.
