A combination includes: an electricity conducting element and a connector cable. The electricity conducting elements includes: a body of insulating material; an electrical conductor extending through the body; at least one passive electrical sensor embedded or integrated in the body of insulating material; and at least one shielded connector with one or more terminals arranged on an outer surface of the body, the at least one shielded connector being electrically connected to the at least one passive electrical sensor. The connector cable includes: a first shielded connector with one or more terminals for connecting with the at least one shielded connector; a second shielded connector with one or more terminals for connecting with an appliance or a further connector cable; and electrical components arranged closely to the first shielded connector and electrically connected to the terminals of the first shielded connector.

Combination of an electricity conducting element, such as bushing, and a connector cable

A bushing includes: an elongate electrical conductor; an insulation layer arranged around the elongate electrical conductor; an electrically conducting sleeve coaxially arranged with the electrical conductor; and a ring shaped printed circuit board with electrical components coaxially arranged around the electrical conductor. The sleeve and the printed circuit board are embedded in the insulation layer. The ring shaped printed circuit board is positioned in an axial direction between both ends of the electrically conducting sleeve.

Bushing with integrated electronics

A combination of a conductor, such as a busbar, and a device for measuring the AC voltage in the conductor, which device includes: an insulation layer arranged on the conductor; a capacitor plate arranged on the insulation layer and configured to position the capacitor plate at a fixed distance from the conductor to form a first capacitor; a second capacitor arranged electrically between the capacitor plate and ground to provide a capacitive voltage divider with the first capacitor; and a voltage measurer for measuring the voltage at the capacitor plate, the voltage measurer including a frequency measurer for measuring the frequency of the voltage in the conductor and an AC voltage calculator for calculating the AC voltage in the conductor based on the capacities of the first and second capacitors, the measured voltage, and the measured frequency.

A mechanism for opening and closing a circuit breaker having an operating rod for moving contacts of the circuit breaker between an open position and a closed position includes: a frame; a first axle rotatably arranged in the frame; a cam arranged on the first axle, which cam operates the operating rod of the circuit breaker; a first gear arranged on the first axle for driving the cam; a second axle arranged rotatably in the frame and parallel to the first axle; a sector gear arranged on the second axle, the sector gear having at least one toothed sector and at least one toothless sector, the at least one toothed sector engaging the first gear upon rotation of the second axle; a spring element for rotatably urging the sector gear; and a lock for locking the rotation of the second axle.

Mechanism for opening and closing a circuit breaker

A device for cooling exhaust gases caused by an electrical arc in high or medium voltage switch gear, which device comprises a housing with an inlet and an outlet for passage of the gases, wherein a hydrous mineral is arranged in the housing for cooling the gases with the water contained in the hydrous mineral.

ARC energy absorber

A busbar connection includes first and second busbars each with a free end, and a shield device. The free ends of the busbars are directed towards each other and are in electrical contact with each other. The shield device envelopes the free ends of the busbars and is configured to steer the electrical field. The shield device includes a body of electrical conducting material. The body has two oppositely arranged contact surfaces in direct electrical contact with the free ends of the busbars. The body has a flange surrounding the contact surfaces and providing an upright edge around the contact surfaces.

Busbar connection

A device for medium or high voltage switching element gear, the device having: a switching element for connecting two conductors: and a driving rod for operating the switch, wherein the driving rod comprises at least a surface layer of an electrically high resistance material. The electrically high resistance material ensures that a small current will flow through the material due to the present electrical field. This small current will cause a heating of the driving rod, such that condensation is reduced or prevented.

Driving rod for medium voltage switching element gear

A terminal is provided for an electrical switchgear. The terminal includes: a housing arrangement including an electrically insulating material and having an inner surface defining a cavity; and a first terminal electrical contact contained in the housing arrangement for making an electrical connection with an electrical component insertable into the cavity. The first terminal electrical contact is located in a first recess formed in the inner surface, the first terminal electrical contact being flush with the inner surface.

Terminal for an electrical switchgear

A switch arrangement for an electrical switchgear includes: a terminal arrangement including an insulating housing, the insulating housing including a first electrical contact and a second electrical contact which are spaced apart along an axial direction; and a breaker moveable along the axial direction in the housing to a first position. When the breaker is in the first position and closed it electrically connects the first electrical contact and the second electrical contact. The insulating housing is split into a plurality of separate sections along the axial direction. At least one of the electrical contacts is in a first section and at least another of the electrical contacts is in a second section.

Switch arrangement for an electrical switchgear

An electromagnetic actuator has a yoke for guiding a magnetic flux, and a holding plate attached to an actuating member, the holding plate and yoke forming a first magnetic circuit. Furthermore a magnetic flux generation device is provided for generating a magnetic flux in the first magnetic circuit. The magnetic flux generation device has an under voltage release coil electrically connected to an auxiliary voltage source representing the value of a voltage to be monitored.

An electromagnetic actuator for operating at least one movable contact of a switch into a switched-on position or a switched-off position, the actuator having: a static pole body; a movable pole body movable relative to the static pole body; a first magnetic circuit with a first coil for making the movable pole body and the fixed pole body move towards each other to a switched-on position and a second coil for making the movable pole body and the fixed pole body move away from each other to a switched-off position; and a second magnetic circuit with a permanent magnet and a retaining plate to keep the static pole body and the movable pole body in the switched-on position; first spring unit for urging the static pole body and the movable body away from each other; wherein the first and second magnetic circuit are arranged concentrically.

Electromagnetic actuator

A disconnector unit for a medium voltage application, with a conductive pen inside a housing. The conductive pen is moveable between an operational position in which an electrical contact is provided between a first terminal and a second terminal positioned inside the housing, and an off position in which no electrical contact is present between the first terminal and the second terminal. The conductive pen includes a first actuating part inside the housing, optionally, in the form of a magnet. The disconnector unit further includes a second actuating part positioned outside the housing, wherein the first actuating part and second actuating part form a non-mechanical link.
