An apparatus including: a router configured to route a first audio signal to a local loudspeaker apparatus; and a switch configured to route at least one further audio signal, wherein in a first mode of operation the switch is configured to route the at least one further audio signal to at least one remote loudspeaker apparatus dependent on determining the presence of at least one remote loudspeaker apparatus, and in a second mode of operation the switch is configured to route the at least one further audio signal to the local loudspeaker apparatus.

Arranging an audio signal based on the number of loudspeakers

An apparatus receives a first audio signal captured by a first microphone of a device and at least a second audio signal captured by at least a second microphone of the device. The apparatus estimates a diffuseness of sound based on the received first and at least second audio signals. The apparatus may then form at least one final audio signal based on at least one of the received first audio signal and the received at least second audio signal by adjusting an audibility of diffuse sound for the final audio signal in response to the estimated diffuseness, in order to enable an enhanced perception of sound with respect to at least one criterion with the at least one final audio signal.

Acoustic actuator plate structures are used in acoustic applications. The acoustic actuator plate structure according to the invention contains an electret material and comprises a structurally weaker electret layer (), where the specific resistance of the electret material is at least 10 &#x3a9;m and the yield point of it is high, and a structurally stronger support structure layer (), where the plastic region of the support layer material is wider than the plastic region of the electret material. The electret layer () can be formed of a material that retains its electret properties extremely well even in high temperatures and humid conditions. This material may be brittle. The support structure layer () provides mechanical and structural strength to the acoustic actuator plate structure.

In accordance with an example embodiment of the present invention, an apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus includes a camera system and an optimization system. The optimization system is configured to communicate with the camera system. At least one microphone is connected to the optimization system.
