The present disclosure relates to methods for processing liquefied waste polymers (LWP) containing diolefins. The LWP feed is supplied to steam stripper A to provide a distillate containing diolefins and naphtha, and a distillate bottom. The distillate is subjected to hydrotreatment B to produce a diolefin depleted distillate which is separated by distillation C to give rise to one or more fractions comprising at least a naphtha fraction, an optional middle fraction and a bottom fraction. Hydroprocessing D of the naphtha fraction gives rise to hydrogenated naphtha which is suitable as a feed for a steam cracker E. Since the distillation bottom, bottom fraction and the middle distillate are predominantly free from diolefins, they can be mixed with crude oil and processed further in oil refinery.

Method for processing liquefied waste polymers

A method is disclosed for upgrading a bio-based material, the method including pretreating bio-renewable oil(s) and/or fat(s) to provide a bio-renewable raw material, deoxygenating the bio-renewable raw material, followed by separation, to provide a propane feed, and subjecting the propane feed to dehydrogenation and to separation to provide a propylene material.

Method to produce bio-renewable propylene from oils and fats

The present disclosure relates to methods for processing liquefied waste polymers containing diolefins and naphtha. Hydrotreatment A of the diolefins produces a diolefin depleted LWP feed which is separated by distillation B to give rise to one or more distillates containing at least a naphtha fraction, an optional middle fraction and a distillation bottom. Hydroprocessing C of the naphtha fraction gives rise to hydrogenated naphtha fraction which is suitable as a feed for a steam cracker D. The distillation bottom and the middle fraction can mixed with crude oil and used in oil refinerery since they are predominantly free from diolefins.
