A valve including: a flow channel and a closure member. A first sealing surface is provided along walls of the flow channel and a second sealing surface is provided along outer edges of a sealing section of the closure member. A rotation axis is offset from the sealing section by a first predetermined distance and from a centerline of the closure member by a second predetermined distance. To ensure smooth operation of the closure member at least one of the first and second sealing surfaces has a non-conical shape that is at least in one area asymmetric with respect to the center axis of the closure member.

Valve with a sealing surface that minimizes wear

A valve sealing arrangement, including a valve body, and a closing member including a closing member contact surface, and a seat, having a center axis, and provided with a sealing portion with a first sealing surface for making contact with the closing member and a back sealing portion with a second sealing surface for making contact with a surface of the valve body. The seat also includes a bellows between the first sealing surface and the second sealing surface wherein the bellows including bellow members wherein adjacent bellow walls form either inwardly open fold or outwardly open fold and wherein one or more of the bellow members extends in a direction that is oblique to the center axis of the seat.

Valve sealing arrangement and a valve seat

The invention relates to a valve having an inlet and an outlet, and a closure member. The closure member comprises an inlet area with a plurality of inlet openings and an outlet area. Main flow channels extend from initial openings in the inlet area through the closure member to openings in the outlet area, said initial openings are located in an initial flow inlet area of the inlet area which is first subjected to fluid from the inlet of the valve when the closure member is rotated from a fully closed position towards an initially open position.

The invention relates to an attachment ring for attaching an object in a flow channel. The attachment ring has a first surface for contacting the object and a second surface for contacting a surface of a shoulder. An expansion member expands the attachment ring by pushing the ends away from each other when the expansion member is moved into the opening. At least one of the second surface of the attachment ring and the surface of the shoulder is inclined in order to wedge the attachment ring between the surface of the shoulder and the object when the attachment ring is expanded by the expansion member.
