The invention relates to a reinforcement device () for a catch element () of a lighting device socket (), said catch element () comprising a plurality of catch flanges () for engaging with the base () of a lighting device () when said lighting device () is pushed in said lighting device socket (), said catch flanges () extending perpendicularly to the lighting device socket plane. The reinforcement device () comprises a ring () and bracing means () integral with said ring () and capable of bracing at least one catch flange () of said catch element () against the base () of a lighting device when a lighting device () is positioned in said lighting device socket (). The invention also relates to a lighting device socket () comprising such a reinforcement device (), a lighting device assembly and a vehicle.

A lighting system comprising an electrical lamp () having an electrical lamp connector (), a holder () having a front electrical connector adapted to be back-connected to a power supply and a cap () to interface the electrical lamp and the holder, said cap extending along a mounting direction between a top side for receiving the lamp connector and an opposite bottom side for receiving the holder connector, and having axial holes extending between the bottom side and the top side for receiving within at least a part of an electrical cap connector able to electrically connect the lamp connector with the holder connector once the lighting assembly is assembled. The cap further comprises a cap guide and the holder further comprises a holder guide, said cap guide and holder guide being adapted to cooperate with one another by fitting in the mounting direction, such that any significant motion of the cap into directions perpendicular to the mounting direction is prevented by the holder guide, ensuring a positioning step of the cap with respect to the holder before an electrical contacting step of the cap connector with the holder connector.

An automotive lamp includes a translucent bulb containing a light source and a cap that surrounds a portion of the bulb such that it engages the bulb by a click connection. The lamp includes a connection member for connecting the lamp to a lamp holder. The connection member is non-detachably connected to the cap, for example, by an ultrasonic welding operation, and locks the click connection.

In a device for placing a lamp in a reflector, a socket for holding a lamp is provided with a main body part to be brought into contact with the a reflector. The lamp is held with a resilient annular spring secured to the main body part, and with two upright arms provided with clicks, while a back plate is provided with pressure points. When securing the back plate to the reflector, the reference plane is brought into contact with the reflector, and the pressure points, when in contact with the clicks of the socket, displace the clicks in the direction of the reflector over a distance &#x394;x so as to put the annular spring under tension. The distance &#x394;x is such that the annular spring presses the reference plane towards the reflector with a force of at least 5N.
