An integrated energy storage unit includes a container and a battery housed within the container. The battery includes a positive battery terminal, a negative battery terminal, and a battery electrolyte. A capacitor is housed within the container, separate from the battery. The capacitor includes a positive capacitor terminal, a negative capacitor terminal, and a capacitor electrolyte. A plurality of connectors electrically couple the battery and the capacitor in parallel. A positive lead is electrically coupled to the positive battery terminal and the positive capacitor terminal. The positive lead extends from the container. A negative lead is electrically coupled to the negative battery terminal and the negative capacitor terminal. The negative lead extends from the container.

Integrated energy storage unit

A current isolation contactor includes a first contact, a second contact movable between an engaged position with the first contact and a disengaged position away from the first contact, and a cam being movable between a biased position wherein the second contact is in the engaged position with the first contact and an unbiased position wherein the second contact is able to move to the disengaged position away from the first contact. A retaining pin retains the cam in the biased position. A drive system is operatively associated with retaining pin to move the retaining pin, allowing the cam to rotate to the unbiased position such that the second contact is moved to the disengaged position.

Current isolation contactor

An electrokinetic pump and fluid delivery system is provided that may include any of a number of features. One feature of the fluid delivery system is that it can deliver a fixed volume of fluid with each stroke of the electrokinetic pump. Another feature of the fluid delivery system is that it can accurately deliver fluid at a target flow rate over time.
