Protection switching of a virtual private network is provided whereby working VPN paths and protection VPN paths are defined. The working VPN path is monitored for increased data traffic and failures, and in response, data is switched from the working VPN path to the protection VPN path. The working VPN path is monitored for a return to proper functioning and normal data conditions, and data is then switched back from the protection VPN path to the working VPN path. Additionally, data capacity is managed through virtual bandwidth classes, and different classes of qualities of service are provided.

Method and apparatus for protection switching in virtual private networks

A structural element for the construction of any type of buildings, comprising a first 'C'-shaped element with equidistant cavities at least on one of its faces and a second element in the shape of a continuous strip with equidistant angular folds, whereby once both structural elements are assembled to each other, the angular folds of the metallic strip are projected through the cavities of the 'C'-shaped structural element.

To this end, the present invention comprises a headgear apparatus comprising a sleeve, a first strap portion and a second strap portion. The sleeve comprises a chin portion and a top portion. A computerized curriculum capture, organization and delivery system and method are provided, includes a data gathering mechanism for defining and downloading a quantity of data from a data source; a data retaining mechanism in communication with the data gathering mechanism for storing the quantity of data; a data organizing mechanism in communication with the data retaining mechanism for organizing the quantity of data into a cohesive and interactive lesson; a server in communication with the data retaining mechanism; a data delivery mechanism in communication with the server; and a user receiver with an input mechanism in communication with the server for operation by an end user; so that the data gathering mechanism defines and downloads a quantity of data from the data source pertaining to a selected curriculum topic, whereupon the data organizing mechanism partitions the data into curriculum units and arranges and interlinks the curriculum units into a lesson web having an interactive format; the server delivers the quantity of data to the data delivery mechanism and the data delivery mechanism delivers the quantity of data to the receiver in interactively accessible segments, and the data delivery mechanism and server deliver commands input into the end user receiver input mechanism to the data storage mechanism in a continuing interactive pattern.

Method and system for curriculum delivery

A construction system uses an elongate horizontal structural beam having a vertically oriented pair of side legs integrally joined to a base plate. The base plate lays abutting a structural ground surface with the side legs extending upwardly. The structural beam further comprising a number of horizontally spaced apart, tabs extending outwardly from the side legs. A number of elongate vertical structural beams, act as wall bearing members and have, integrally joined to a further base plate, a further pair of side legs adapted for abutting, at a first end, the first structural beam. Further tabs extend outwardly from the further side legs. Each of the tabs is derived as a cut-out portion of the side legs such that a major surface area of the tabs is positioned vertically or horizontally depending upon how the beam is positioned. A vertical concrete wall abuts the first and the second side legs and is positioned for enclosing all of the tabs for attachment of the beams to the wall. In the case that the concrete wall comprises a rebar network, individual bars are placed and spaced apart within the concrete wall so as to avoid interference with the tabs.

Building construction system

A structural building module has first and second upright cast structural members. Each of the first and second structural upright members include a wall portion and a roof portion. These structural members are initially supported on erection pads such that the wall portions are upright and the roof portions project toward one another such that the roof portions can be joined together. After joining the roof portions a structural base is formed in situ by casting. The structural base is attached to the wall portions of the structural members by entraining into the structural base, attaching members projecting out of the wall portions near their bottom edge.
