A sand control screen assembly includes a base pipe having openings through its thickness, and a mesh layer having mesh material sections coupled to safe edges, or connectors, for connecting sections together. The safe edges include areas of thinning to provide flex joints that yield when exposed to high stresses. The present disclosure provides techniques for a self-extendable hydraulic wellbore cleaning tool. The cleaning tool includes one or more extending nozzles which eject cleaning fluid onto the walls of a wellbore with increased impact momentum due to the shorter range. The extending nozzles can extend from the cleaning tool to a distance away from the cleaning tool, bringing the point of ejection closed to the walls of the wellbore. In certain example embodiments, the cleaning tool also includes one or more flow guides which direct the flow of cleaning fluid ejected from the nozzles. The flow guides cause the cleaning fluid to rotate when ejected from the nozzles, and causes the cleaning fluid to impact the walls of the wellbore at an angle.

Self-extendable hydraulic wellbore cleaning tool

A housing can be mounted adjacent an isolation valve and after a fixed number of on and off pressure cycles allow a spring to push an actuator to operate the valve to an open position. The actuator, can be reset with a tool run into the module to move the actuator back against a power spring and hold that spring force until the pressure cycling begins again. The preferred application is for a formation isolation ball valve but other valves, such as sliding sleeves, or other types of downhole tools can be actuated with the module that permits a retrofit of a hydraulic operation to a heretofore purely mechanically actuated tool. The actuation force to initially open is boosted by a secondary potential energy source that is unlocked to give an initial boost force to the indexing spring that is part of a j-slot actuation mechanism.
