Quarter round plastic extruded raceway

In a two piece metal raceway having snap-in cover segments that engage marginal edges of the base, a gap between adjacent cover segments is fitted with a stamped device bracket including rearwardly bent end portions with angled tap and bottom edges that are snapped into the base. This device bracket lies in the same plane as the cover segments so a cover plate can overlap these raceway cover segments. The resulting assembly lends itself to considerable time savings for the installer.

A metal two piece raceway has a base with inturned marginal edges that receive cover segments designed to mold therewith. The cover segments are spaced at selected location to receive a device bracket therebetween, and the device bracket receives an outlet device that is connected to through wires in the raceway base the device bracket is secured in place by wings that define at least in part channels for receiving depending ribs formed for this purpose in a unique cover that locks the assembly in place in a manner that has both aesthetic and functional advantages.

Raceway system with selectively placed outlet devices

Two piece metal raceway (base and cover sections) accommodate not only fiber optic cable at 90 degree corner assemblies, that includes divider means defining a second wireway channel along side a first channel or wireway accommodating the fiber optic cable. The curved walls of the corner assembly base have a radius of two inches or more, and these walls include slots which receive tabs that may be spot welded and/or riveted to provide a permanent connection between the divider element and the raceway base corner fitting.

Fiber optic cable raceway system cross reference to related applications

A raceway for both power and data communication wiring has a base with at least two forwardly open wireway channels that can be covered with covered segments that snap onto the base between outlet boxes of several different styles. These outlet boxes each have a back plate that snaps onto the raceway base so the base can be provided continuously along the wall without having to be cut to fit between outlet box locations. This outlet box back plate is made to receive the outlet box cover in a snap-on mode as well. The device or devices to be put in the outlet box are also capable of being snapped into place.

Wire containment system for mounting on a wall structure

Two-piece metal raceway accommodates fiber optic cable at 90.degree. corner assemblies that include curved side or back walls. The bend radius of these curved walls is two (2) inches or more, and these walls are also formed with stops to locate the raceway base, and to protect the cable from abrasion due to the raceway base flanges. Each corner assembly also includes a cover that anchors the raceway base to the corner assembly.
