A device for defrosting the finned cooling assembly of a refrigeration system having an ellipsoid transparent polymer material housing a light source. The light source is positioned substantially in correspondence with one of the focal points of the ellipsoid. A sensor for the light beam radiated by the light source and reflected by an inner surface of the ellipsoid recognize variations in the luminous intensity of the beam caused by the formation of frost along the path of the light beam. A plurality of finned cooling assemblies are activated by the signal emitted by the sensor.

Defrosting device, in particular for refrigeration systems

The diode is incorporated in a fixed manner on the optical axis of a carrier lens. The carrier lens consists of a front portion with an outer transverse surface, formed concave towards the emitted light, and a longitudinal portion for incorporating he diode. The longitudinal portion has its outer longitudinal surface formed concave towards the diode. The concave transverse surface is surrounded by a further outer transverse system. The concave longitudinal surface is arranged to reflect the diode-emitted light rays towards the further outer transverse surface, which is arranged to transmit the light rays to the outside in a longitudinal direction.

Optical system for light emitting diodes

An elementary cell combinable to form dot matrix displays, in which a plurality of plates of non-magnetic insulating material, at least one of which is in contact with a plate of high magnetic permeability, define a seat for housing a polychrome sphere provided internally with a permanent magnet. In the plates of non-magnetic material there are arranged magnetic poles, which can be energized selectively to cause the sphere to rotate into predetermined positions.
