A vehicle lamp that incorporates means for protection against electrostatic discharges. Sn an embodiment, the vehicle Samp includes a metalized part that is made from synthetic polymer and that is metalized at least on one side of it. The vehicle lamp further includes a metalized retaining clip integral with the metalized part, and a grounding cable electrically connecting the metalized part to the ground via the metalized retaining clip. A first end of the grounding cable is fixed to a locking end of the metalized retaining clip and a second end of the grounding cable is connected to the ground to ensure a proper connection between the metalized part and the ground.

Vehicle lamp incorporating means for protection against electrostatic discharges

A lighting module for an automotive vehicle. The module comprises a support, for example made by a heat dissipation device, and a printed circuit board accommodating at least one light source of a first type. The printed circuit board is housed on the support. The lighting module proposes allowing light sources of a second type, generating, for example, a different amount of heat, to be housed so that the rays arising from the two types of sources may be coupled into one and the same light guide, while efficiently dissipating the heat generated by each of the types of light sources.

Lighting module for automotive vehicle comprising two types of light sources

The invention relates to an electronic assembly for an automotive lighting device. The inventive electronic assembly comprises a first group of light source connections and at least one jumper where each jumper is arranged to bypass a first spare light source connection belonging to the first group of light source connections by putting its first and second terminals in electrical contact. Hence when in operation, the first spare light source connection does not receive any light source. The first group of light source connections are intended to receive light sources which are used for the same lighting function. The invention also relates to a lighting device that includes such an electronic assembly with a method that includes manufacturing such a lighting device.

A device controls at least a first light source of a motor vehicle. The motor vehicle includes at least the first light source to provide a first light function and a second light source to provide a second light function. An electric power supply device for a plurality of light sources on a motor vehicle. The device includes a plurality of control units configured to control electric power supply of at least one respective light source. The control units each include a diagnostic unit configured to deliver a diagnostic signal for the respective light source. According to the invention, the device is designed to deliver two binary signals for the identification of a partial failure and for the identification of a total failure of light sources.

Detection of the partial and/or total failure of a group of light sources on a vehicle

The invention proposes to gather bin information identifying semiconductor-component light sources in a luminous module for a motor vehicle by way of a single electronic circuit in which the light sources and the bin information relating thereto are implemented. The invention allows the cabling between a supply device and a printed circuit board containing the electronic circuit according to the invention to be decreased since the bin information required for the configuration of the supply device is gathered actively over the supply line of the light sources.
