Static conversion method and system for the regulation of power in an alternating current electrical network

The system (CVT) includes a first electrical machine (M) with a first rotor (R) provided with a multiphase winding (W) and fixed firmly to the shaft () of the internal combustion engine (ICE) and a second rotor (R) or intermediate rotor coaxial with the first rotor (R) and carrying first magnetic means (PM) operatively cooperating with the winding (W) of the first rotor (R), the intermediate rotor (R) being coupled with at least one axle () of the motor vehicle, and a second rotary electrical machine (M) coaxial with the first (M) and including a stator (ST), which is arranged on the opposite side of the intermediate rotor (R) to the first rotor (R) and is provided with a multiphase winding (W), as well as the intermediate rotor (R) which also carries second magnetic means operatively cooperating with the winding (W) of the stator (ST), a first inverter and a second inverter (I, I) of which the a.c. sides are connected to the winding (W) of the rotor (R) and to the winding (W) of the stator (ST), respectively, and the respective d.c. sides are connected in parallel with one another by means of a d.c. voltage link (L), sensors (S-Sn) suitable for providing electrical signals indicative of predetermined parameters relating to predefined operating conditions of the internal combustion engine (ICE) and of the motor vehicle, and an electronic control unit (ECU) connected to the sensors (S-Sn) and to the inverters (I, I) and arranged to control the operation of the inverters (I, I) in a manner such that, after the engine (ICE) has been started, the voltage (VDC) in the d.c. voltage link (L) is regulated to a predetermined value which is variable in accordance with predetermined procedures in dependence on the values of the parameters monitored by the sensors (S-Sn).

Transmission system with a continuously variable transmission ratio

The electric machine (M) comprises an armature (A) and an inductor (B), the inductor (B) having for each pair of poles (N, S) of the armature (A), n teeth () identical to one another and n slots () and being provided with a winding (W) housed in the said n slots. The armature (A) has its surface facing the air gap (G) divided into 2N elements or samples () with N being a whole multiple of n, having substantially the same extent in the said direction of relative displacement, and having a respective magnetic potential value. Each sample () of the armature (A) is associated with a value of total magnetic permeance (p) at the air gap (G) in a predetermined alignment condition between the inductor (B) and the armature (A). The armature (A) comprises a plurality of magnetically distinct ferromagnetic bodies (; . . . ) each of which couples at least two armature samples in such a way as to ensure a substantial magnetic equipotentiality.

Synchronous electrical machine

An electric machine (M) comprises a field (A) and an armature (B) between which is defined an air gap (G). The field (A) has at least one pair of poles (N, S) and the armature (B) has n teeth () and n slots () per pair of poles (N, S) of the field (A). The surface of the field (A) facing the air gap (G) is divided into 2n elements or samples () having the same extent along the direction of relative displacement between armature and field, and having a respective magnetic potential value (&#x3c4;). Each sample () of the field (A) has a respective total permeance value (pi) at the air gap (G) in a predetermined relative position between armature (B) and field (A).
