A door handle assembly and unlocking method include a handle connected to a base by a hinge for rotation between an idle position, substantially parallel to the base, and a door-opening position, inclined relative to the base. An actuator is within the base and moves the handle to at least the opening position. A first control device in the handle and connected to an electric unlocking system. The handle includes a tactile area on an inner surface for receiving pressure applied by the user's hand for activating the first control device and generating a first control signal. A second control device is on the base and is actuated by movement of the handle from the opening position to an over-opening position to generate a second control signal. The electric unlocking system receives the first or second control signal in order to unlock and allow opening of the door.

A handle for a motor vehicle door leaf includes a support, lever, gripping element, electric control unit, first detector, and second detector. The gripping element is fixed to the lever. The gripping element is coupled to the support and displaceable relative thereto from a rest position to a deployed position, and from the deployed position to an unblocking position. The first detector is configured to detect a presence of a user and send a first signal to the electric control unit in response. The second detector is configured to detect a displacement of the gripping member from the deployed position to the unblocking position and to send a second signal in response. The electric control unit is configured to control the unlocking of an electric latch in response to the reception of the second signal after reception of the first signal.

Vehicle door assembly

A door leaf handle for a motor vehicle and an assembly including the handle includes a bracket and a gripping element is movable relative thereto between a rest position, a primary door opening position and a secondary door opening position. At least one breakable stop limits displacement of the gripping element in the primary door opening position if pulling force applied is less than a predetermined force value and configured to break if a pulling force applied on the gripping element exceeds the predetermined value and to allow the displacement of the gripping element beyond the primary door opening position to the secondary door opening position.
