Sealing device for a wheel hub assembly provided with a rolling bearing, the sealing device being provided with a shield mounted on an outer ring of the bearing and with an annular cylindrical wall having an inner lateral surface mounted on an outer lateral surface of a collar of the outer ring; and with a sealing material fixed to the shield and defined by a pre-formed annular covering of polymer material, preferably but not necessarily rubber or thermoplastic material, formed independently and separately from the shield and mounted on the shield.

Sealing device for a wheel hub unit is disclosed herein, wherein the sealing device being able, during use, to form a static seal for protecting the wheel hub unit from any environmental pollutant and being provided with a screen, which is engaged with a collar of the wheel hub unit and has a bottom wall, a cylindrical side wall integral with and more or less perpendicular to the bottom wall. The sealing device is designed and structured to protect the wheel hub unit from any environmental contaminant that the wheel hub unit may be exposed to during usage.

A sealing device for a wheel hub unit configured to form a static seal to protect the wheel hub unit from environmental contaminants. The sealing device including a shield that is coupled to a collar of the wheel hub unit. The sealing device having a cylindrical lateral mounting wall pressed into the collar, an annular seat with a blind end formed in the cylindrical lateral wall, and a sealing gasket positioned, inside the seat and compressed radially between the groove and the collar, and formed by a sealing compound to allow the formation of a bead against the cylindrical lateral wall in a transport and/or assembly configuration of the sealing device. The bead being movable into the seat by a scraping action exerted by the collar during the assembly of the shield.

A sealing device for bearing units is disclosed herein. The sealing device may comprise a static component and a dynamic component. The static component is provided with a shaped metal support, with a plurality of non-contacting sealing lips, and with two contacting lips. The dynamic component defines a labyrinth seal with a second sealing lip of said non-contacting sealing lips, a third lip, preferably non-contacting, being positioned along the labyrinth seal and having a full angular extension, so as to form a full seal against any ingress of contaminants into the bearing unit.

The sealing device including a metal shield that is coupled to a collar of the wheel hub unit, and has an end wall, a cylindrical lateral wall integral with, and orthogonal to, the end wall. The lateral wall has twice the thickness of the end wall in order to impart stiffness to the metal shield, and a stop edge integral with the cylindrical lateral wall on the opposite side to the end wall, for bearing axially against the collar; a sealing gasket formed by a silicone-based sealing compound being provided to allow the formation of a bead against a cylindrical lateral wall in an assembly configuration of the sealing device.

A sealing device for a bearing unit having an axis of rotation and providing; a static component placed on a non-rotatable outer ring having a reinforcement support that abuts the outer ring and elastomeric material disposed on the reinforcement support, the elastomeric material forming first and second lips; a rigid shield configured for placement on one of a rotatable hub and a rotatable inner ring; the first and second lips have an equilibrium position where they do not contact the metallic shield; the elastomeric material forming a third lip that contacts the rigid shield to form an internal volume of the sealing device, the second lip and the rigid shield define a labyrinth seal in communication with the internal volume; the second lip, does not extend a full three hundred sixty degrees around the axis of rotation. This creates a channel for drainage of contaminants from the internal volume.

Low-friction sealing assembly for a vehicle wheel-hub unit to be inserted in an annular space defined between a flanged rotating element and a stationary element, to protect at least one ring of rolling members arranged between the stationary element and the rotating element; the flanged rotating element being provided with a flange and a mounting seat delimited by a cylindrical bottom wall and by an axial shoulder arranged on the opposite side to the flange. Nominal dimensions of an internal diameter of a sleeve portion of an annular screen are substantially the same as nominal dimensions of an outer diameter of a cylindrical bottom wall of the mounting seat, and the axial shoulder has an entry edge with a substantially conical form for facilitating mounting of the annular screen on the rotating annular element.
