An electrical assembly may include an electrical component, a first switch, and/or a second switch. The electrical component may include a closed state and an open state. The first switch may be connected in series with the second switch. The first switch and the second switch may be connected in parallel with the electrical component. The first switch and the second switch may be configured to provide a second electrical connection when the electrical component is in the open state. A method of operating an electrical assembly may include providing power from a power source to the electrical component, opening the electrical component, the first switch, and/or the second switch via a controller, closing a second electrical component via the controller, and/or providing a diagnostic current from the power source to a diagnostic load to determine a status of the power source.

Electrical assembly

An electrical system includes a movable component configured for selective connection with and selective removal from a mounting surface. The movable component may include a first electronic control unit (ECU), and an electromechanical interface configured for selectively locking the movable component with said mounting surface. The electrical system may include a second ECU configured to communicate with the first ECU, and/or a third ECU configured to detect a potential dynamic event via one or more sensors. The third ECU may be configured to provide dynamic event information to the second ECU. The second ECU may be configured to provide disable information corresponding to the dynamic event information to the movable component. The first ECU may be configured to lock the movable component with the mounting surface according to the disable information.

Electrical system

An electrical system may include a track assembly, a support assembly, a sensor, and at least one electronic control unit. The track assembly may include a bus bar. The support assembly may include a contact configured to engage the bus bar. The support assembly may be removably and adjustably connected to the track assembly. The at least one electronic control unit may be operatively connected to the bus bar and the sensor. The at least one electronic control unit may be configured to determine whether the support assembly and the track assembly are properly connected to one another.

An electrical track assembly may include a pair of tracks, including a first track including a first conductor, a second track include a second conductor; and a support member configured for connection with, removal from, and movement along the pair of tracks in a first configuration and a second configuration. The support member may include a first support member contact, a second support member contact, an electrical load including a first load contact and a second load contact, and a manual switch assembly configured to selectively electrically connect the first conductor with the first load contact, selectively electrically connect the second conductor with the second load contact, and prevent current flow (i) between the first conductor and the second load contact and (ii) between the second conductor and the first load contact, the manual switch assembly including a blocking element.

Electrical track assembly

A system for communicating with removable components may include an electronic controller and a removable component having an identifier and configured to communicate with the electronic controller. The removable component may be configured to transmit the identifier to the electronic controller via a first communication channel. The electronic controller may be configured to transmit a confirmation to the removable component after receipt of the identifier. The removable component may be configured to transmit information to the electronic controller via at least one of the first communication channel and/or a second communication channel, after receipt of the confirmation.

System for communicating with removable components

In at least one embodiment, an apparatus for a vehicle is provided. The apparatus includes a polyswitch and a switching device. The polyswitch includes a first resistance. The switching device is in parallel with the polyswitch. The switching device includes a second resistance that is less than the first resistance. The switching device is configured to enable a first current to flow therethrough when the vehicle is in an active mode. The switching device is configured to enable a first current to flow therethrough to power all electrical loads of the vehicle when the vehicle is in an active mode. The first resistance of the polyswitch is configured to enable a second current that is less than the first current to flow to a portion of the loads when the vehicle is in a sleep mode.

Apparatus for permanent supply with a switch

A removable component system may include a removable component selectively connectable to a mounting surface including a component electrical unit; an antenna; a system controller configured to communicate with the component electrical unit and the antenna; and/or a track assembly configured to be fixed to said mounting surface. The removable component may be selectively connectable to said mounting surface via the track assembly. The removable component may be configured for selective connection with, removal from, and movement along the track assembly. The system controller may be configured to obtain a position of the removable component relative to said mounting surface via the antenna and the component electrical unit (e.g., via a component controller, a sensor, and/or a communication device thereof).

Removable component system

An electrical assembly includes a support assembly and/or a track assembly. The support assembly may include a first controller and/or a plurality of safety devices. The electrical assembly may include a track assembly and/or a second controller. The first controller and/or the second controller may be configured to control the plurality of safety devices via a conductor of the track assembly. The plurality of safety devices may include a first safety device, a second safety device, and/or a third safety device. The first safety device may include an airbag and/or may be configured to be activated by pyrotechnics. The first safety device may be configured to be activated by a first deployment current pulse. The support assembly may include a first portion that may include a first contact. The track assembly may include a first track that may include the conductor.

A vehicle system for providing access to removable vehicle components may include one or more vehicles having customizable configurations and configured for selective connection with a plurality of removable components, an electronic device associated with a user, and/or a computer server configured to communicate with the electronic device. The electronic device may be configured to facilitate user selection of one or more removable components of the plurality of removable components for the one or more vehicles.

Vehicle system for providing access to removable vehicle components

An electrical system may include an electrical unit including a power source, a switch assembly electrically connected to the power source, an activation portion electrically connected to the switch assembly, an electrical latch electrically connected to the pulse generator and/or the switch assembly, and/or a controller electrically connected to the switch assembly and the electrical latch. An embodiment of a method of operating the electrical system may include activating the activation portion; activating, via the activation portion, the switch assembly to electrically connect the controller with the power source; latching the switch assembly in an activated state via the electrical latch; and/or unlatching the switch assembly via the controller to electrically disconnect the controller from the power source.

An electrical system may include a mounting surface, a component configured for connection with the mounting surface and configured to move relative to the mounting surface, and/or an orientation sensor configured to determining an orientation of the component relative to the mounting surface. The orientation sensor may include a first sensor (e.g., a magnetometer, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, etc.) connected, at least indirectly, to the mounting surface, and a second sensor (e.g., a magnetometer, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, etc.) connected to move with the component. The orientation sensor may include an electronic controller. The electronic controller may be configured to compare first information from the first sensor to second information from the second sensor to determine the orientation of the component relative to the mounting surface.

An electrical system may include an ECU and a power distribution circuit that may include a first portion and a second portion. The first portion may be configured to combine a first power input and a second power input into a power output. The second portion may be configured to provide the combined power output to a plurality of loads. The first portion may include a first section, a second section, and an output section. The output section may be connected to the second portion. The first section and the second section may be connected in parallel to the output section. The first section may include a first semiconductor device and a first switch disposed in series. The second section may include a second semiconductor device and a second switch disposed in series. The ECU may be configured to detect and mitigate a thermal hazard in the power distribution circuit.

Electrical system including a power distribution circuit

An electrical assembly includes a track assembly, a control circuit, and a support assembly. The track assembly may include a first bus bar, and/or the first bus bar may be configured for connection with a first terminal of a power source. The track assembly may include a second track that may have a second bus bar, and/or the second bus bar may be configured for connection with a second terminal of said power source. The support assembly may be configured for connection with the track in a first orientation and/or in a second orientation. The support assembly may include a positive terminal and/or a negative terminal.

An electrical assembly includes a circuit board, a shunt busbar; a connector including a first conductive resilient member and a second conductive resilient member, and a controller. The first conductive resilient member and the second conductive resilient member may be disposed substantially between the circuit board and the shunt busbar. The first conductive resilient member and the second conductive resilient member may electrically connect the controller with the shunt busbar.
