An energy storage device is provided including multiple back-to-back-disposed storage cells, from the first end of which the plus pole is made to emerge and from the other end of which the minus pole is made to emerge, thereby creating a series circuit of the storage cells. In order to reduce fabrication costs, it is proposed that each of the storage cells have a continuous opening between the plus pole and the minus pole, through which opening a guide rod extends that secures the back-to-back-disposed storage cells in this position.

A system is provided for the coordination of at least one switchable vehicle function of a motor vehicle, at least one battery charge condition threshold value of the energy accumulator unit being assigned to the at least one vehicle function such that, when there is an exceeding of or falling below the battery charge condition threshold value, the assigned vehicle function can be activated. Different battery charge condition threshold values can be assigned to the at least one vehicle function as a function of the operating condition of the drive unit, the temperature of the energy accumulator, the temperature outside the vehicle, and/or the age condition of the energy accumulator unit.

System for the coordination of at least one switchable vehicle function of a motor vehicle

A power supply system for a motor vehicle has a low-voltage onboard power supply and a higher-voltage onboard power supply. Either the minus connection or the plus connection of at least the high-power consuming devices of the higher-voltage onboard power supply is coupled via a central bus line with the corresponding (minus or plus) connection of the low-voltage onboard power supply. The central bus line is provided with a controllable switch. Devices are provided for measuring the voltage of the low-voltage onboard power supply, and/or for measuring the differential current between the current flowing on the plus line and the current flowing on the minus line in the higher-voltage onboard power supply. The controllable switch is opened when the voltage in the low-voltage onboard power supply has exceeded a defined voltage threshold and/or when the differential current has exceeded a defined current threshold.

In a cooling device for a vehicle-internal battery charger and a transformer in electric vehicles, the battery charger and the transformer are mounted on a common cooling panel. The cooling panel is preferably liquid-cooled.
