A suction nozzle () for a hollow jet suction box () is used for sucking liquid jets (). The jet suction box has on a box casing () at least one slot casing opening () to a box interior space (). The suction nozzle (″) has a nozzle body (), arrangeable above the casing opening (), with a slot suction opening (), which passes through the nozzle body in a flow direction ('). The suction opening extends from an inlet side () at a free end to an outlet side (), arrangeable at the casing opening. The nozzle body has a mobile sealing element (′) adjacent the suction opening and laterally defining the slot-like suction opening and a resilient expansion device (), which acts on the sealing element (′) and pushes the sealing element outward, away from the outlet side, against the suction flow direction.

Suction nozzle, jet suction box and jet suction method

A jet manifold () and a method for a hydroentanglement device () are provided. The jet manifold () has a hollow housing () that includes a housing shell (). An opening () is provided in the housing shell. A nozzle strip () is located in the housing () and has a tub-shaped cross-section with a nozzle body (). The nozzle body () is recessed in the opening () in the housing shell.
