The invention relates to a tamper device for a screed of a working machine, in particular a paver. The device comprises a rotatable driveable tamper shaft with an eccentric section, an 5 eccentric bushing mounted on the eccentric section, and a connecting rod rotatable mounted on the eccentric bushing for being driveable with stroke motions having a stroke, the stroke being adjustable by an rotational adjustment of a relative rotational positioning between the eccentric bushing and the eccentric section. The device further comprises an inner-toothed hollow 10 wheel gear train for providing the rotational adjustment. The gear train is connected to the tamper shaft, to the eccentric bushing, and to a drive force receiving element configured to be able to receive a drive force for driving the innertoothed hollow wheel gear train when the tamper shaft is rotating.

A paver machine includes a screed arranged to level out road material disposed on the ground and a pressure actuated screed lifting cylinder arranged to lift and lower the screed with respect to the ground. A pressure sensor is arranged to measure the pressure in the cylinder when the screed is being lifted or lowered. Further a control unit configured to receive pressure data from the pressure sensor indicative of the pressure in the screed lifting cylinder when the screed is being lifted by the screed lifting cylinder. Based on analysing the pressure data, the control unit sets a reference height position for the screed.

A screed arrangement for a paver machine includes a screed body including a deflector member and a base plate, and an oscillating tamper bar arrangement positioned between the deflector member and the base plate. The invention relates to a road finishing machine having a screed extending transverse to the working direction of the finishing machine. The machine includes a base plate that can be heated using an electrical heater clamped to the base plate. The heater has at least one bar-shaped heating element, wherein the bar-shaped heating element includes a round tube heating element having at least one heating bar fixably supported on individual bolts that can be attached to the base plate and forming heat transfer bridges.

The invention relates to a device for compacting road paving materials, comprising a screed board which is fastened on a road finisher and extends at a right angle to the direction of travel of the road finisher and a tamper that is mounted in front and/or behind the screed board. The tamper has a tamper strip that can be driven to perform a striking upward and downward movement and the interior of which is equipped with an electrical heating unit in the form of a rod-shaped heating element that can be clamped into a recess of the tamper strip. The device according to the invention is characterized by a spring accumulator receiving a heating element in the direction of the striking upward and downward movement for clamping the heating element.
