A piston pump, having at least one delivery plunger to deliver pressure fluid from a suction chamber via a working chamber into a pressure port, is provided with elastic damping elements arranged in the suction chamber to compensate for the occurring pressure pulsations.

Disclosed is an anti-lock brake system of the type wherein the pressure applied on the wheel brakes can be decreased by discharging pressure fluid by way of a return line wherein the brake system includes a pump whose suction chamber communicates through a suction line with a reservoir and a return line is connected to the suction chamber.

Anti lock brake system

An anti-lock hydraulic brake system which includes a brake pressure generator composed of a master cylinder, a brake power booster inserted upstream thereof and a pressure modulator interposed between the master cylinder and the brake power booster. A resetting unit is formed by supplementing the pressure modulator with a valve assembly which connects a resetting chamber of the pressure modulator to either a pressure-compensating reservoir or an auxiliary-pressure source. The braking pressure in the wheel brakes is controlled, according to a time-multiplex method, by wheel valves inserted into the pressure-fluid conduits and by the pressure modulator. In order to check the operability of the brake and of the anti-lock control system, a pressure switch is connected to the pressure modulator and a test circuit is provided which, at predetermined points of time, initiates a test cycle, actuates the valves and compares the valves' operation with the reaction of the pressure switch.

Anti-lock hydraulic brake system for automotive vehicles

In a hydraulic motor vehicle brake system with slip control comprising a pressure accumulator (13), a hydraulic pump (23), a non-return valve (2) and a brake power booster (17). The pressure outlet of the pump (23) is connected with the pressure accumulator and with an inlet of the brake power booster (17) via the non-return valve (2). The outlet side of the non-return valve (2) is connected with the inlet of the brake power booster (17) via the pressure accumulator (13) in order to reduce noises caused by pressure pulsations in the fluid flow of the pump (23).

Hydraulic brake system for motor vehicles

The valve includes a control piston axially slidable in a cylindrical bore which controls the cross-sectional area of an orifice of a connection between the cylindrical bore communicating with a pressure port and a user port. The control piston is acted on by a spring and a pressure which is reduced relative to the pressure at the pressure port. A cushioning arrangement acting on the control piston avoids occurrence of pressure surges affecting the control piston behavior.

Flow control valve

A valve is disclosed for connecting a user port with a pressure port or a return port as required. A closure member which is acted upon by a pressure piston is shifted from a first into a second valve position. By disposing a throttle in the return port, a balanced pressure is achieved on all sides of the closure member during a valve position change process so that the valve changes from the first into the second position safely and rapidly.

Accumulator changing valve

A radial piston-type pump is disclosed which includes a non-rotating control pin projecting into a cup-shaped housing. A pivoted cylinder block having radial holes is arranged on the pin. As the cylinder block rotates, the holes are alternately connected with a suction line and a pressure line. A connecting channel is provided which leads from the radial outer area of the inside chamber of the housing to the suction line of the pump.
