This female quick-coupling element for a quick-connect coupling is able to cooperate with a male coupling element. A control ring is able to move in translation along a longitudinal axis between a first position and a second position. A blocking member prevents translation of the control ring as far as its second position. An element for the elastic return of a piston, integral in transverse movement with the blocking member, to its internal position is mounted in a housing of the first coupling element situated outside the housing of the piston, and fluidically isolated from the fluid-flow conduit. The first coupling element comprises transmission means, disposed between the return element and the piston, to return the piston to its internal position.

A female element quick coupling for releasably joining two pipes conveying a fluid under pressure and which receives a male coupling wherein the female element includes a latch movable relative to a body of the female element between a first position, in which it retains the male portion in a leaktight coupling position, and a second position, in which it retains the male portion in a position for purging a downstream pipe. The female element further includes a control member mounted to slide in an open bore in the body for causing the latch to move at least towards the second position. This female element includes a gasket for closing a gap defined between an outer face of the member and an inside face of the bore especially at high purging pressures.

A female rapid coupling element is adapted to receive a male element by insertion along a longitudinal axis (X-X') and includes at least one locking member which is movable along an oblique axis and has an end engageable in a groove of a male element. A head of the locking member is provided with at least one lug defining a first surface oriented towards the end and adapted to receive in sliding contact a corresponding surface of a first component. A sliding plane (P) between these surfaces is inclined at an angle of between approximately 75&#xb0; and 105&#xb0; with respect to the oblique axis of translation of the member. A quick connect and quick release coupling for connecting two pipes, including a male element and a female element that are axially fitted and interlocked one inside the other and wherein a locking mechanism retains the male element in a coupled position and a temporarily retaining mechanism immobilizes the male element, after its release by the locking mechanism, in a position for flushing a pipe connected to the male element. The locking mechanism is controlled by a sleeve that slides relative to a body of the female element. When the temporarily retaining mechanism retains the male element in flushing position, it is subjected to a first force (E) derived from a pressure (P) of the fluid flowing (F) from the male element outwards and to a second force (E), opposite to the first, exerted by elastic return means which, when the pressure (P) drops to a safety threshold, moves the temporarily retaining mechanism into a position for releasing the male element from the female element.

The coupling comprises a male plug () and a female element (). A retaining latch () for retaining the plug () in the female element () is movable between a first position in which said latch () is capable of retaining the plug () engaged to a first depth in the female element () in which it is connected in leaktight manner to said female element, and a second position in which said latch () is suitable for retaining the male plug () engaged to a second depth that is smaller than the first depth. Quick coupling for joining together two pipes for conveying a gas under pressure

This connection comprises two elements, male and female, adapted to fit axially in each other, the body of the female element being equipped with a lock mounted to slide and pierced with at least one opening for the fit of the male element. The wall of this opening is equipped with at least one element in relief adapted to cooperate with a corresponding element in relief of the male element in order to retain these elements in fitted configuration. The lock is in two parts and comprises a first part on which may be exerted, from outside the body, an effort of displacement, as well as a second part mobile with respect to the first part and bearing the aforementioned element in relief. A safety member is adapted to block the first part against the effort of displacement, without preventing the displacement of the element in relief with respect to the first part of the connection. The male and female elements may be uncoupled by exerting an additional effort of fit, then by exerting an effort of penetration of a part of the lock in the body and by withdrawing the male element from the female element.

Quick connection and method for uncoupling the male and female elements of such a connection

A female element for a quick connection for removably joining pipes of fluid under pressure and which is adapted to receive a male element. The female element includes at least one locking member movable within a guide channel that extends transverse with respect to an axis of fit of the male and female elements and which member has one end which is configured and adapted to be cooperatively engaged in a peripheral groove of the male element. The locking member is also provided with a tab which projects radially with respect to a body of the female element and which is cooperatively engaged by two portions of a control ring that is movable over the body of the female element in order to move the locking member within the guide channel between an inner locking position and an outer release position.

A female element of a quick connection provided with a closure valve, wherein the opening of the valve is controlled by a reaction force exerted by an O-ring disposed in an inner housing of a body of a male connection element adapted to be fitted in the female element. The reaction force results from the abutment of the valve on the O-ring when the male and female elements are coupled together. Upon the failure of the O-ring, the valve is not displaced so that the risks of leakages are eliminated.

A quick connect coupling for removably connecting two pipes which comprises a male element adapted to fit into a female element along a principal axis of the coupling. The Female element includes at least one ramp for receiving a radial projection of the male element to lock these elements together. The ramp is formed in a ring freely rotatably mounted in the female element, and fixed in translation along the principal axis, while the projection is fixed with respect to the male element. The ramp forms a seat for locking the radial projection. Locking is obtained by essentially axial movements of the male and female elements with respect to one another.

Linearly actuated quick connect pipe couplings which include a male element and a female element adapted to fit into each other along a principal axis. One of the elements includes at least one ramp for receiving a radial projection mounted to the other element which locks the elements together by axial movement of the elements relative to one another. One of the ramp or the projection is formed with a ring mounted to rotate but is fixed in translation along the principal axis of one of the male or female elements. The ramp forms a first seat for locking the projection when the coupling is in a configuration to permit fluid passage and a second seat, offset axially with respect to the first seat, for locking the projection when the coupling is in a configuration to permit decompression of fluid within the coupling.

A quick safety connection for the removable joining of pipes, comprising a male connector and a female element adapted to fit and to be locked inside one another. A controlled locking mechanism is adapted to immobilized the male connector axially in a position of connection, while at least one retention member is provided to immobilize the male connector, after release of the connector by said locking mechanism, in an intermediate position of discharge of the pipe connection. The locking mechanism and retention member are controlled by a sleeve sliding around the female element. Vents and safety stops are provided to limit the movement of the sleeve under the effect of the pressure prevailing due to the discharge of the connection in the intermediate position between the female element and the sleeve.
