A method for signal evaluation in a locating system that includes multiple radar sensors whose locating ranges overlap one another. The method includes evaluating the signal of a first of the radar sensors and identifying distance cells that are not empty, for at least one of these distance cells: selecting a second of the radar sensors and determining a distance range in which the objects situated in the distance cell would have to be situated from the viewpoint of the second radar sensor, and classifying the object configuration in the distance range, based on the signal of the second radar sensor.

Method for signal evaluation in a locating system that includes multiple radar sensors

An electronically commutated electric motor includes a stator and a rotor formed as a permanent magnet. A control unit is connected to the stator and configured to energize the stator to produce a rotating magnetic field. The electric motor further includes at least one Hall sensor configured to detect at least a magnitude of a sensor magnetic field produced by a sensor magnet connected to the rotor. The electric motor also includes at least one magneto resistive sensor configured to detect an alignment of a total magnetic field during a rotor revolution of the rotor and to generate a rotor position signal representing this alignment. The total magnetic field includes the sensor magnetic field and an interference magnetic field superimposed thereon. The control unit is further configured to determine the rotor position of the rotor at least depending on the alignment of the total magnetic field.

Electronically commutated electric motor comprising rotor position detection with interference field compensation

A commutated electric drive has an electric motor having a sensor assembly which has a permanent magnet on a shaft of the electric motor and an analog Hall sensor situated stationary relative to the stator of the electric motor opposite to the permanent magnet. A controller for controlling the windings of the electric motor has a memory for storing a calibration Hall signal of the magnetic field of the permanent magnet, measured using the Hall sensor, over one revolution of the shaft. The controller has a device for comparing the calibration Hall signal with an instantaneous Hall signal of the instantaneous magnetic field of the permanent magnet, measured using the Hall sensor. Temperature effects and aging effects may be recognized and taken into account when determining the rotor position.

Commutated electric drive and method for controlling a commutated electric motor

An arrangement of a plurality of MOSFET's on a chip that includes a first terminal, a second terminal and a third terminal is provided, the arrangement having at least one first MOSFET used as a first control cell and at least one second MOSFET used as a second control cell, each MOSFET having respectively a gate terminal, a source terminal and a drain terminal. The source terminals of all the MOSFET's are connected to one another and contacting the first terminal of the chip. The drain terminal of the at least one second MOSFET, which is used as a power cell, contacts the second terminal of the chip. The gate terminals of all the MOSFET's are connected to one another and contact the third terminal of the chip. The gate terminal and the drain terminal of the at least one first MOSFET, which is used as the first control cell, are connected to one another.

A method and a device are for predicting a life expectancy of a product, which includes at least two components. The life expectancy is ascertained as a function of an assumed field loading of the product. The components of the product are acted upon by different loadings and are operated, in each instance, at the different loadings until they fail. An end-of-life curve of the component is recorded on the basis of the load-dependent failure times of a component. An EOL curve of the product is ascertained such that at the different loadings, it includes the EOL curve of the components which has, in each instance, the shortest failure time at the corresponding loading. The anticipated service life of the product is determined as a functional value of the EOL curve of the product as a function of the predefined loading of the product.
