A link setting assembly according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a fixture including at least one platform mount and at least one linkage mount. The at least one linkage mount is spaced-apart from the platform mount by a distance corresponding to a predetermined link length.

A method of installing a seal in a bore of a component includes securing a base plate to a component. The method includes arranging the seal onto a pusher. The method also includes inserting the pusher into a hole in the base plate. The method further includes installing a hub onto the base plate and over the pusher. The method further includes rotating a rod relative to the hub to advance the pusher and seat the seal in the bore.

A method of providing a pressure test on a tube to identify leakage includes the steps of (a) mounting a clamp on a tube adjacent an end and such that a plug which is part of the tool is positioned to plug an inlet into the tube, (b) actuating the tool to cause the plug to provide a fluid tight seal in the inlet, and (c) applying a source of pressure to the tube, and monitoring the pressure within the tube, and identifying a leak should the pressure drop more than a predetermined amount in a particular period of time. Methods and tools are provided for pressing a ring seal into a component. In one method, a tool is anchored to the component. The tool includes a first aperture which extends along an axis. The first aperture is coaxial with a second aperture in the component. The ring seal is pushed axially through the first aperture towards the component, where the tool radially compresses the ring seal as the ring seal moves axially towards the component. The radially compressed ring seal is pressed into the second aperture using the tool.

Aspects of the disclosure are directed to a safety adapter that is removably and replaceably securable to a hollow lock nut hydraulic cylinder that includes a threaded collar. The safety adapter may comprise a cylindrical sidewall having a distal axial end and proximate axial end, that at the distal axial end includes a top surface having a center through hole and at the proximate axial end includes a sidewall threaded surface on an interior surface of the cylindrical sidewall configured and arranged to engage with the threaded collar.
