A trim member is made from a single piece of trim material. The trim material has a plurality of spaced apart cut out regions which divide the trim member into a plurality of trim sections. These trim sections are connected to one another by thin strips of the trim material in each cut out region. The strips are bendable and the cut out regions are shaped to enable a reconfiguring of the trim member from a lineal to a trim border forming configuration for use around a door, a window or a windowed wall area of a building wall.

A window unit has a sliding sash which is moved latterly in the window frame as the sash is closed to compress weather stripping extending completely around the sash between the sash and a peripheral stop surface on the window frame. The sash is also tiltable as well as slidable.

Sliding window seal

A window lock for a slideable and tiltable window sash. The lock has a housing for attachment to a window unit to present a slideway extending transversely of the sliding movement of the window, and a locking member having a bolt at one end slideable in said housing slideway to move said bolt between a first maximum outwardly projecting sash locking position, a partially retracted sash sliding position for allowing vertical sash sliding movement, and a fully retracted sash tilting position.
