An autoinjector comprising a body () that is adapted to receive a reservoir (S), said reservoir (S) containing fluid and including a piston (P) and a needle (A), such as a pre-filled syringe, said autoinjector further comprising an actuator sleeve () that is movable relative to said body () between projecting positions in which said actuator sleeve () projects out from said body () at least in part, and an actuated position in which said actuator sleeve () is moved axially into said body (), said actuator sleeve () being in a first projecting position before actuation of the autoinjector, and in a second projecting position after actuation of the autoinjector; said actuator sleeve () being urged towards said projecting positions by a spring (), said autoinjector including a removable cap () that is fastened to said body () before the autoinjector is used, said removable cap (), when it is fastened to said body (), moving said actuator sleeve () axially relative to said first projecting position through a distance (d) into said body (), against the force of said spring (), such that when said removable cap () is removed from said body (), said spring () returns said into said first projecting position.

Auto-injector

An autoinjector having a body () receiving a reservoir (S), the reservoir containing fluid and including a piston (P); a piston rod () adapted to co-operate with the piston (P) of the reservoir (S), the piston rod () movable by an injection spring () between a primed position and an injection position in which the piston rod () has moved the piston (P) of the reservoir (S); and an indicator device for indicating that the autoinjector may be removed from the injection site. The autoinjector includes a retarding system for delaying actuation of the indicator device relative to the end of injection, the retarding system including a dashpot () containing a fluid and a piston () arranged in the dashpot (). The retarding system has the dashpot (), the piston (), a retarding spring (), a locking key (), and the piston rod (), and the piston rod ().

A manual injection device having a lower body () for a reservoir (S), a piston (P) and a needle (A); a movable upper body () including a piston rod (TP); and an actuator sleeve () including a contact end () and movable relative to the lower body between projecting positions and an actuated position. The actuator sleeve () is in a first projecting position before the manual injection device is actuated, and in a second projecting position after it is actuated. The actuator sleeve co-operates with the lower body () or with any element secured to the lower body to define a pricking lock. The piston rod (TP) co-operates with the reservoir or with an element secured to the reservoir to define an injection lock. The force for actuating the pricking lock is less than the force for actuating the injection lock, such that the pricking lock is actuated first.

Manual injection device

An auto-injector having a body () receiving a reservoir (S) and including a piston (P); a piston rod () movable between a primed position and an injection position in which the piston rod () has moved the piston (P) to inject fluid into an injection site; and a visual, audible, and/or tactile indicator device for indicating that the autoinjector may be removed from the injection site. The autoinjector includes a retarding system to delay actuating the indicator device relative to the end of injection and that includes a dashpot (), a shear member () and a fluid. The dashpot or the shear member is rotatably mounted in the body and the other is stationary in rotation, the turning of one relative to the other being braked by shearing the fluid contained in the dashpot. The dashpot and shear member include projections that impede the flow of the fluid.

Auto-injector with a system for delaying the device indicating the removal of the auto-injector

A manual injection device having a lower body and a fluid reservoir that moves axially in the lower body. The reservoir includes a piston and needle; an upper body mounted to move axially relative to the lower body, the upper body including a piston rod co-operating with the piston; and a sleeve mounted to move relative to the lower body between a rest position and a projecting position. The sleeve is blocked in its rest position before the injection device is actuated, and urged automatically into its projecting position after injection. The piston rod co-operates with the reservoir to form an injection lock, the force for moving the reservoir axially being less than the force for triggering the injection lock, such that pricking is performed before injection. Before actuation, the piston rod is connected to a ring that is fastened on a radial collar of the reservoir.

An autoinjector having a body () receiving a reservoir (S) containing fluid and a piston (P); a piston rod () movable by an injection spring () between a primed position and an injection position; and a visual, audible, and/or tactile indicator for indicating the autoinjector may be removed from the injection site. The autoinjector including a retarding system for delaying actuation of the indicator relative to the end of injection, and including a dashpot () containing a fluid, a piston () in the dashpot, the dashpot or the piston movable in the body during actuation of the retarding system with the other stationary relative to the body, resulting in the fluid moving out from the dashpot through a flow passage () to brake movement.

Auto-injector with a delay system

An autoinjector having a body () adapted to receive a reservoir containing fluid and including a piston (P) and a needle. The body () has a distal portion, a middle portion, and a proximal portion, the middle portion including at least one middle window () making it possible, before use, to see 100% of the fluid contained in the reservoir and, after injection, to see the piston (P). The middle window () has an external shape of an arrow that points towards the proximal portion. The proximal portion () of the middle window () includes a triangular end portion, forming the point of the arrow, the base of the triangular end portion, remote from the point, forms the widest portion of the middle window ().

An autoinjector having a body () receiving a reservoir (S), the reservoir containing fluid and including a piston (P), such as a pre-filled syringe, and stationary in said body (); a piston rod () that co-operates with the piston (P), the piston rod () movable between a primed position and an injection position in which the piston rod has moved the piston so as to inject the fluid into an injection site; and a visual, audible, and/or tactile indicator device for indicating to the user that the autoinjector may be removed from the injection site, the indicator device arranged at the rear end of the body (), remote from the injection site. The autoinjector includes a retarding device to delay actuating the indicator device relative to the end of injection, the retarding device having an epicyclic gear train having at least one stage, and advantageously two stages.

An autoinjector having a body () receiving a reservoir (S) containing fluid and including a piston (P), such as a pre-filled syringe; a piston rod () that co-operates with the piston (P), the piston rod () being movable by an injection spring () between a primed position and an injection position in which the piston rod () has moved the piston (P) of the reservoir (S) so as to inject the fluid into an injection site; and an indicator device for indicating to the user that the autoinjector may be removed from said injection site. The autoinjector also includes a retarding system to delay the end of actuating the indicator device relative to the end of injection, the indicator device generating a noise while being actuated, the noise being generated until the end of actuating the indicator device.

An autoinjector having a piston rod for a piston of a reservoir, the piston rod movable between a primed position and an injection position; an injection spring urging the piston rod towards its injection position; and an injection lock including a control sleeve containing the piston rod and the injection spring. The piston rod includes a radial recess receiving a substantially-spherical blocking element movable between a blocking and unblocking position and urged radially outwards by the piston rod and held in its blocking position by a blocking ring; and a support member fastened in the control sleeve and having a ring with an axial end in contact with the injection spring, the other axial end supports the blocking element. The blocking ring is engaged on the support member and disengaged by the control sleeve.

Autoinjector

An autoinjector having a body to receive a reservoir and an actuator sleeve including a contact end and extending inside the body and movable relative to the body between projecting positions and an actuated position. The actuator sleeve is in a first projecting position before actuation of the autoinjector and in a second projecting position after actuation. The actuator sleeve, in the second projecting position, extends axially further out from the body than in the first projecting position and includes an annular zone that, in the first projecting position, is arranged inside the body and in the second projecting position is arranged outside the body. The annular zone includes a visual indicator that the autoinjector has been actuated. Axially adjacent the annular zone the actuator sleeve includes a shoulder, projecting radially outwards relative to the visual indicator, thereby protecting the indicator against contact with the inside of the body.

A molded part that is made of synthetic material and that has a rigid frame and at least one movable portion that is movable and/or deformable relative to the rigid frame. The at least one movable portion is connected, during molding, to the rigid frame via at least one breakable bridge of material. The at least one breakable bridge of material is broken while the molded part is being assembled, or while the molded part is being used for the first time.
