A computerized process useful for sharing a persistent augmented reality (AR) objects between a set of users in a persistent AR system, comprising: implementing a persistent AR system, wherein the persistent AR system the set of users to place a set of persistent AR objects that are persistently viewable in an associated real-world context via a mobile device, wherein the persistent AR objects are shareable between users of the persistent AR system, and wherein the persistent AR objects are geolocated with the associated real-world context location; providing a list of each geolocated persistent AR object created by a first user as a user channel in the persistent AR system; enabling another user to subscribe to the channel; and enabling the other user to view each geolocated persistent AR object of the channel.

Persistent geo-located augmented reality social network system and method

Implementations generally relate to virtual reality telepresence. In some implementations, a method includes performing projection mapping of a projection area. The method further includes collecting user information associated with a user. The method further includes positioning the user in a virtual environment based on the projection mapping and the user information. The method further includes determining a point of view of the user in the virtual environment. The method further includes projecting the virtual environment onto the projection area based on the point of view of the user.

Virtual reality telepresence

Methods, systems and user interfaces enhance an augmented reality experience of a user having freedom of movement within an external environment. A local user interface is created and displayed to the user in a first viewable region. A global user interface is created and displayed to the user in a second viewable region, further from the user than the first viewable region. The local user interface is maintained at a first spatial position, the first spatial position being stationary with respect to a part of the user's body; and the global user interface is maintained at a second spatial position, the second spatial position being stationary with respect to the external environment.

A game assembly that enables at least one person to play a board game against a computerized opponent. A game board is provided having a plurality of playing spaces. The game board is configured for a predetermined game having known rules of play. An animated figure is positioned proximate the game board. The animated figure has an arm that can be selectively moved. An automation mechanism is used to selectively move the arm of the figure over the game board during play without touching the game board. The animated figure therefore provides a false appearance that the figure is actually playing the game.

A clipper assembly for clipping the claw nail of an animal and its associated method of use. The clipper assembly has a set of opposing cutting edges. The cutting edges are part of a clipping mechanism that selectively biases the cutting edges toward each other with enough force to cut an animal's claw nail. A light source is provided adjacent one of the cutting edges. The light source is oriented to shine light through a claw nail. The light has a frequency and intensity that enables some of the light to travel through the claw nail. As the light travels through the claw nail, it causes the features within the claw nail to come into contrast. The position of the blood vessels within the claw nail can therefore be observed. The claw nail can then be liberally clipped without cutting the blood vessels.

Device and method for clipping the claw nails of an animal

A leash and collar system for a pet, having a unique coupling that can be quickly attached and detached with one hand, even while the coupling is pulled in tension. The coupling has a female section and a male section that selectively interconnect. The female section defines a receptacle for receiving the male section. A magnet is disposed within the receptacle at its base. The male section has an internal plunger element that selectively moves between a forward position and a rearward piston. When the male section is inserted into the female section, the plunger element is magnetically attracted to the magnet in the receptacle. The magnet pulls the plunger element into its forward position. Locking elements protrude from the male section when the internal plunger element is in its forward position. The locking elements prevent the male section from being retracted out of the receptacle.

A novelty bank assembly and its associated method of operation. The novelty bank assembly includes a bank structure that defines an internal money compartment. An animated character is also provided that is connected to the bank structure. Within the novelty bank assembly is a microprocessor that senses when money is added to or removed from the money compartment. The microprocessor also controls movements of the animated character and broadcasts selected audible phrases. The microprocessor moves the animated character and broadcasts selected phrases depending upon the condition of the novelty bank assembly and the action of a person using the novelty bank assembly.
