An adapter for a socket wrench includes a shaft with two socket drivers disposed along the shaft. Each of the socket drivers can, independent from one another, rotate around the shaft and slide along the shaft in either direction. There are two stops at each end of the shaft to prevent the socket drivers from falling off the shaft. The socket drivers can be attached to a variety of different socket accessories and sockets so that torque applied to one of the socket drivers can be multiplied and exerted at the end of the other socket driver. One particular embodiment includes a shaft and pedal that aids a person in correctly and easily tightening or loosening lug nuts.

Method and apparatus for adapting a socket wrench

An improved dispensing package for liquids is described comprising a combination pouring spout fitment, a closure that functions as a measuring cup when removed and inverted, and a bottle. The improved liquid seal between the closure and the fitment is made possible through mismatched bevels on the closure and fitment respectively wherein the sharper angled bevel on one of the parts buries into the wider angled bevel of the other part. The applied torque is prevented from loosening prematurely through a thread configuration form that allows the closure to seat securely into the spout fitment with the closure threads pushing back up against the bottom surfaces of the fitment threads in a 'locked' arrangement. The correct alignment of the fitment on the bottle is made possible through the coordination of a thread stop on the fitment and corresponding locking lug on the neck of the bottle. Lastly, an indicia means is used on the outside of the fitment skirt to verify that the spout fitment and closure subassembly has been correctly orientated on the bottle even through the direction of the spout is obscured when the closure is in place.

Arithmetic Measurement System quantifies arithmetic operations just by measurement and without arithmetic calculation or even counting. Playing cards may be annotated with size-coded marks or card tags to represent face value. For example, a tag representing a face value 5 is half the size of one representing a value 10 using a linear tag scale, or about 7/10the size using a logtag scale. Users align linear tags in a contiguous row to add values or overlap tags to subtract values. Users align logarithmic tags in a row to multiply values or overlap tags to divide values. Integrated and separate measures with corresponding linear or logarithmic tag-scales quantify a total value of aggregate or net tag row size. Product developers may use the Arithmetic Measurement System of tags and measures to provide novel educational math manipulatives and playing card games for players unskilled in arithmetic.

A lid includes a top having a cover receiving portion having a first aperture and a second aperture formed therein, a hinge positioned about a center of the cover receiving portion such that the first aperture is on one side of the hinge and the second aperture is on an opposite side of the hinge, and a cover having two directly opposing sidewalls rotatably attached to the cover receiving portion via the hinge. Each sidewall includes a protrusion extending therefrom shaped to fit within one of the first and second apertures. The cover pivots relative to the cover receiving portion so as to engage either the first aperture or the second aperture, and when the protrusion on one sidewall of the cover is pivoted towards the first aperture, the protrusion on the other sidewall simultaneously pivots away from the second aperture.
